They've already been doing it for years. They can do it from satellite. But they can also implant the same thing onto your brain from frequencies and you believe that you're seeing/hearing/feeling it. Because once the AI has the blueprint or 'code' of the brain frequencies of all different things, they can then generate an image from scratch and then send it to your brain. You dont ever question something that you think are your own thoughts or what you think you're seeing with your eyes. But they're not yours at all.

@@antonliakhovitch8306 No matter how much rational and grounded we try to be, you can't keep human beings from anthropomorphizing and developing emotional bonds with inanimate objects. Children do it with their teddy bears and their toys. Some people feel like their car is an additional family member. Sailors have always called their boats with "she" pronouns. Humans crave connection, even with things who cannot reciprocate their affection, it's just the way it is.
@antonliakhovitch8306 Жыл бұрын
@@celian.6577 I know, but just because it's natural doesn't mean it isn't dangerous. The difference with cars and boats is that there isn't much danger in trusting them, because they can't think (yet). The fact that this is natural human behavior *is* what makes it so scary. For example, Amazon would want nothing more than for you to be emotionally attached to its voice-controlled shopping device. That's happening *now*, the future is bleaker.

yo this is one of the best episodes you've posted in a while. Everything was super interesting and funny. I think within a year or two there will be phone apps that will record our dreams. Think about the amount of data we'll be able to collect on the nature of the unconscious mind. We spend a third of our lives sleeping, but we know very little about the nature of that experience because we mostly forget our dreams. This breakthrough will be huge in several fields.
@Vivealgerieforever Жыл бұрын
And definitely the scariest, AI is just too advanced now, it's as if we're in a movie
@9nikola Жыл бұрын
I doubt phones that can sense your brain activity is going to be common enough in 2 years for there to be apps to read your mind. Maybe in 10 years there'll be a device you can connect to your phone, in which case an app would be made, but otherwise it's more likely they'll just make the device on its own rather than connect it to phones. Actually, if a device can know the visuals you're thinking of, phones would probably just be replaced with mind controlled devices directly implanted into your eyes (or some glasses) rather than the mind being connected to your phone.

@@professorp1 You people are only looking at the good side of it and not how that technology WILL be abused. The government has forever been wanting to control people minds and thoughts. ( Mk Ultra ) that was all about the government want to control peoples minds and they haven't stopped wanting to find a way to control peoples thoughts. They pitch these idea's talking about all the great things it's gonna do to improve our lives, but once they can always know what we are thinking and eventually the technology will get to where they will know what we are all thinking at any given moment. The argument of ( well, if you didn't do anything wrong you got nothing to fear ). Imagine being arrested for having an angry thought that you never had any intention of acting on, and the police come and arrest you for it. I can see that in the future. The U.S. has the highest rate of incarceration in the world and with privatized for profit prisons. being able to arrest people for their thoughts, yeah i can see that happening one day, it might take about a decade, but once they can see your thoughts, that is the final frontier, everyone will be total slaves.

So yeah, I actually can tell you why your toilet sounds like that lol. It's not just terrifying and or hilarious, it's the rubber membrane in your fill valve making crap contact... basically you have to figure out what style fill valve it has and either clean it (seldom works for me) or replace it. In my case the city water pressure is quite high, something like 85 PSI, when those rubber gaskets that seal the water coming into the tank get dried and perish they make this crazy sound.

Plumber here: Based on the noise emitted from the toilet, it seems like the problem lies with a loose wax seal in your toilet. When water flows past the flow check valve, it causes vibrations that further exacerbate the issue. This type of situation is quite common and can lead to water leaks or inefficient flushing. It's crucial to address it promptly to prevent any potential damage or inconvenience. PS: I have no idea what I'm talking about and you should contact a real plumber. (Welcome to the internet)
