The shifter is like that because it’s called a “ dog leg “ race cars have it as you would only ever use 1st gear to get off the start line . It makes 2nd /3rd gear quicker as you only use 1st very very rarely ……. You can buy clips for your gear box that prevent you accidentally shifting into Reverse that require 2 hands to put into reverse ….

The reason that 1st gear is down and to the left is that, 2nd and 3rd gear being the most used on a racetrack are in a straight line to make for a quicker shift. Awesome beasties fellas!

Yes he prior vehicles have been cool and fast but none with the same road presences as this one. Of course you are entitled to your own opinion.

Other than the merci doesnt have bluetooth or any of the modern amenities! But the merci is the cooler of the 2 cars but in terms of daily drive ability, the merci doesnt really check those boxes
