“Our roles depend on who we choose to mesh with” is the main point. If a woman is with a man who stands in his role that was ordained from the creation of mankind, the woman doesn’t have to enact any form of masculinity (i.e. she won’t HAVE to work outside the home, figure out how to provide for herself, lead him bcuz he doesn’t have a sense of direction etc)….. this is the missing piece- many of the men who want submissive women are subpar men. They didn’t do the work to uphold and maintain manhood and won’t earn a woman who understands and lives in submission to her partner 🤷🏽♀️

The difference between a young lady and a young man being abandoned at a young age and having to raise themselves is what survival looks like on each. When a man doesn’t have the father but enters life aggressively it’s expected, when your a woman and you behave the same due to the same circumstances it’s viewed differently. Both need their aggression for survival however it’s only respected when it’s coming for a man so learning to be soft as a woman is hard especially in a world that doesn’t want us to be soft submissive etc.

@Seen_not_heard Жыл бұрын
On the topic of paying for the babysitter, offering to pay for a sitter is nice, but not expected (it is a good way to apply pressure). If you give her enough notice of the date (i.e. two weeks in advance) that should give her enough time to find a family member or a neighbor she can trust to watch her kid for "the free". Then you won't need to pay extra for a sitter. In my opinion, there is no expectations until we are married. I don't expect my current boyfriend to pay my bills (if he offers, "thank you baby"). We are not married, he is not responsible for me and if I got hurt, my emergency contact is my mom, not him. We forget THERE ARE LEVELS FOR EVERYTHING. That changes when we are engaged. It changes again when we are married.

having narcissistic traits and having narcissism personality disorder are two different things. narcissism and gaslight are buzzwords these days. but what women that use it loosely don’t understand, is they are actually undermining their own pain when they refer to someone who is not a narcissist as one. so stick w me. NPD or narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health issue you need therapy for. in which you will do anything to get what YOU want and you only see the people around you as pawns. narcissists lack empathy. even for their immediate family or their own children. gaslighting is a common abuse tactic used by narcissists in which they cause cause you to question your own reality. example- you see me eat your leftovers and ask me why, and i respond that i have no clue what you’re even talking about and that you’re acting crazy to minimize your feelings and make you question if i even did eat your food. so calling your ex a narcissist, who was not, is invalidating your experience because narcissism would be an actual diagnosis that explains, (not justifies but is the cause) of that persons actions. so say what it really is, if he was physically, mentally, sexually abusive then say that. those are major character flaws. not diagnoses. i hope that made sense!

The reason why people try to change people is because they meet someone that they like visually and then find out the person isn't quite compatible but they don't know how to disconnect. Yep. Also they start to care about a potential mate's ability to procure excess resources, that's why people say they mature faster since they have a finite amount of time to get the best guy they can, have babies by him and be able to be taken care of long term IF she can't provide the lifestyle she wants by herself.
@louisdavis6432 Жыл бұрын
Question#1 It is not his responsibility to pay for your child's babysitter. As mature people, if you talk to him and he states he'll do it with no strings attached then that's fine. Mature conversations are one of the issues with today's"relationships". You can't base what type of guy he is based on him paying or not for your babysitter. A lot of today's immature men will be looking for that booty call if they pay for your babysitter.

@isaywhatyouafraidto Жыл бұрын
I disagree with the part of 100% of wife duties. It’s not true anymore. More men are active in household aspects now than ever before. To the point where I honestly think women just use it as a excuse now
@jadamills3243 Жыл бұрын
@@isaywhatyouafraidto you know you’re wrong in your opinion. Statistics and history are two different meanings. Stats are based on experience which became the history of the progress that has been achieved or ignored by the entire population. I know guys like you rely heavily on statistics, but ask yourself, is stats the true history or people use their opinions to create stats? It’s know in American culture and other culture, women are seen as nurturers, caretakers and suppose to raise children and cook. True only thing the world expect of men are provide and protect. Because many men abandon their kids no matter the circumstances , it’s safe to say that men’s expectations when it comes to marriage is different from their expectations in relationships while women’s expectations for men are the same in both relationships and marriage. Provide and protect those you want respect from.

Now I agree on the relationship aspect but many women who want a long term relationship are likely to want kids too, which women have a biological "clock". Menopause is real and women have a finite amount of time to have kids naturally. Banking on invetro fertilization or "freezing her eggs" is a foolish and pretty risky move that USUALLY doesn't work or takes multiple attempts and is also very costly.
@marcuswalker67642 ай бұрын
A woman can have a career AND kids but she should prioritize kids FIRST if she indeed wants kids and a family. You can always get the career later on.
