Hello - one of your adopted grannies here. US-Florida. Some of us viewers, a bit older, decided to adopt you as our Catherine grand daughter. We're so proud of you and your accomplishments. Your garden is really growing this year, sun flowers and strawberries are huge. I'm from an area in Florida where they have many strawberry fields, they're beautiful when flowered then fruiting. Plant City, Florida has a Strawberry Festival every year after harvest, parade, celebrations, country fair, concerts and the famous strawberry shortcakes.

Good evening, Oh i so look forward to your Sunday gardening vlogs. They bring me such joy. Could you please do a checky little vlog of you in the summer evenings attending your garden. Just a little walk around whilst your watering your plants at the end of the evening. It'll look so lovely with the twinkly lights of your summer house as well. Great video and have a great new week. x

Gardening tip to make watering easy and make your seating area a minimal work space…Buy a second garden hose. Attach it to the spigot, run the hose down the side of the house and behind your pots and then along the fence… move your reel and hose more centrally located in the yard. Turn on the hose when you need to water, no need to move your chairs!! 💖🪴🌸🌻

A relaxing garden video . Lovely. I do think you need to get a dustpan and brush and some gardening gloves. Some plants you could get allergic to and if there is a bee or a wasp in the flowers when you are trimming them the wasp might sting you. You should ask your brother to come over and help you move your pots . When you moved the pots around In front of the greenhouse then showed us , it looked like you placed Blondie in the picture at the end .

Astilbies do well for us in the pacific northwest. I've always thought of them as more of a shade loving plant. It does look like the leaves are a little sunburned. That might explain why it does well as it comes up in the cool spring and then as the sun gets more intense, it struggles. I'm not much of a gardener but that's my 2 cents worth. Love, love your garden!
@susanskinner88552 жыл бұрын
Crispy leaves is a very good indication of not enough water and they like the shade. Move it, give it a hair cut and a good shot of fertilizer or compost, water it well and plant it in a shady or dappled shape area. The hotter the area, the more shade required. Beautiful cottage garden !

I have heard that painting stones to resemble strawberries, and then placing them among the plants early in the season, the birds then peck at the stones. Once the berries ripen the birds the assume they are stones and leave them alone. "Yee Haw" from Texas.
