Spoiler: beautiful book. So real and human. I don’t know if after the epilogue Daisy and Billy definitively got together, but I think that it was Camila finally letting Billy explore the connection that he never had the heart to before. Whether they actually reconnect/write a song together/end up together is entirely up to interpretation.

i loveee this book. And each character is so fucking interesting. i fell in love with Billy and Camila's relationship when i started the book, the way they both loved each other and all the sweet little things he did in the start. But when Daisy and Billy clashed it was something else. i love Daisy's character soo fucking much and all the things she said, the way she explained the things she did. How she was angry and stupid and young. There were so many lines that just touched my fucking soul and i cried over.

I second this. Read that book 2 years ago and it was one of the best books that I read in a while. I'm normally not a fan of the genre that Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is in but the author's writing and skill in storytelling was too compelling for me to put down.

I am listening to the book as well. Music is such an emotional thing, it’s impossible not to write music without using intense emotions. I am about halfway done, and I can’t wait to watch the series. Fun fact, Daisy is being played by Elvis’ granddaughter. Perfectly fitting!

also Karen's character was so interesting to me, because i related to her soo much. And her relationship with Graham was just a knife through my heart. i cried so many times while reading this book. But there were so many funny parts too, like when they were deciding the bands name and how 'six' was similar to 'sex'. i just love this book😵

Once again - I totally agree with your review! I am choosy with audiobooks too yet love that option for certain times like driving, late night listening, while cleaning etc. This audiobook was SO well done. I am so glad I listened to it vs reading it. Their voices added to the character development SO much. And I agree with you…so many things Daisy says are just OMG - I need to write that one down! :) AMAAAAZING.

I loved Daisy Jones and I've read 4 of her books. Evelyn Hugo is the only one I straight up didn't like. But yay, im glad you finally read this and even loved it!! I'd recommend After I Do and Malibu Rising but yeah, I didnt like Evelyn Hugo... 😶

omg, firstly nikki- I absolutely love your videos! They make my day so much better!! I would like to recommend one book- "Cross my Heart" by Shanjida Nusrath Ali. I was a crying mess by the end. Definitely check the TW's first since the book has dark themes anddd also it's a mafia romance 👀

I too listened to this on audio which I heard was the preferred way to experience this book. If that is the case, the physical book must be truly dreadful. Worst book I have read in a number of years. Celebrity obsessed culture but it's not even about real celebrities. I should have liked it because this was the musical era I grew up with but no, just no.
