Pure magic. We have the pleasure of knowing this family and hearing the bit about Roly and his passion for this with his Dad is golden. Roly will show this clip to his kids and Grandkids in the decades to come. I'd be stunned if half a dozen fishing gear manufacturers and retailers aren't clamouring for Sam to trial and demo their gear online after this video. Entertaining, informative and inspiring. Hats off and bravo to Sam and the young fishing star Roly G!!!

Top vid and spot with the advice , nothing beats a 90s on the plastics gear . Cracked the code twice last year a 98 and a 96 just sitting in the rod holder letting em waft down . Very addictive chasing reds

I've been fishing offshore with plastics for snapper just this winter around the port Stephens general area. I was lucky enough to catch a few 70s but my biggest in 20m water on a TD Black 10lb braid 20lb on a 5" paddletail was 91cm at 9.17kg.

should you cast in direction of the wind? should the jighead go away from the boat or close to the boat?
@officialWWMАй бұрын
Cast with the wind, it will go a lot further. I normally cast downstream of the boat and let it sink as the boat drifts over it.

Who heavy is the leader ? 20lb is enough? 😊
@bythegills5588 Жыл бұрын
25lb Saltiga Fluoro is the leader being used in this clip man, 20 is a bit light for me, 30 is heavy and 40 is my max. The 25 is spot on!
