Re: So she killed the love of her life? I don't think he was that, that was just her trying to get him to drop the quest because she didn't want any of them. So with the second bloke I think it was more a one sided thing for him & she was playing the part because there wasn't much else she could do openly, all he saw was the quest. Re: Nick & Adalind - I think the idea is that they're bonding through trauma & the weird situation of having a son together. There's a lot of baggage, on both sides, ie Nick did technically kill her (Hexenbiest side) & steal her first baby from her.

And her own mother is technically dead because of Nick, going by Dak's logic. And he is technically the reason she lost Diana by letting her go with Kelly, so the hurt goes both ways. They have basically dealt each other the same amount of blows, just as hurtful on each side, and it's kind of poetic and ironic that they may get to be each other's healing factor

I think that the moment Juliette and Adalind shapeshift into each other, their fates also shift.

If you follow the blame chain up another link, if they hadn't taken Diana away, Adalind wouldn't have had to do what she did to Nick in an attempt to get her back. What she did to Nick was obviously bad, but what they did to her was also awful and is what really set them on the path to the deaths of Kelly and Juliette.

Yes I agree, Everyone keeps blaming Adalind. I don't understand. It's like Adalin owes it to Nick. And Adalind was alone in her fault. Nick was wrong too. Everyone is blemished. They cause damage to each other. it's a chain as a result of action

Like you, I was glad they didn’t rush Nick & Adelind. She needs to build up her character credibility first and establish other relationships with characters other than Nick since a lot of what matters in this series is “team trust”. Having her jump into a relationship with Nick would leave her as the “3rd wheel”. She needs to be a part of the whole group 😊 Thanks for another great reaction❤

Aveces el que Nick sea el protagonista no nos deja ver que el ocasionó gran parte de lo que adalin hizo; algo que yo no le perdonaré a equipo de Nick es el secuestro de la hija de Adalin. Aquí no se trata de que Nick perdone a Adalin porque entre los dos se han hecho mucho daño. Creo que hay que ver el panorama completo. Y con respecto a Juliet la verdad el personaje fue perdiendo mucha fuerza no tenía mucho potencial por eso lo modificaron y fue una muy buena escusa para que se explicará un poco el comportamiento de una wesen de su tipo y como en era Juliet muy en su interior.

The plot to take the child away from Adalind Claiming that was the best thing for her child. It doesn't make sense. They have no right to think for her.

This reviewer is right to notice that a lot of things in this show are not set up properly. I will go through those. 1) Nick was a good cop before realizing he was a GRIMM so he should always be a cop first and a GRIMM second. 2) Adalind triggers Nick's GRIMM ability so there needs to be a connection between Nick's family and the Hexenbiest. 3) A GRIMM being able to banish a Hexenbiest spirit explains how Adalind was able to get another Hexenbiest spirit and later Juliet gets Adalind's Hexenbiest spirit. 4) Adalind's core values change first when she loses her Hexenbiest spirit and then again when she gets another Hexenbiest spirit. We also see this with Juliet. 5) The new Hexenbiest spirit alters Adalind's behavior towards her daughter which places Adalind on a path to a relationship with Nick. 6) The realization that this Hexenbiest spirit has both lived and been banished for hundreds of years suggests knowledge of current and future events like Rosalie becoming a mom to a foster daughter. 7) The idea of Nick moving out in the middle of nowhere in a barely functional building that takes 30 minutes to secure all the massive windows is one of the dumbest things in this show.

Lol, no, I don't think just talking to her bf would have stopped the competition. Her Dad seems to be the type of guy who will kill you if you tried to end it. The last guy said he was gay & the Dad did not care. This is part of their culture, it's not something you can just put aside apparently. However, they were just dating, not sure about him being the love of her life, he was after all seeking to win her hand through this rather than just proposing. Though, if he had proposed her Dad may have just killed him. Anyway, that aside, yeah, Nick & Adalind & their much amusing awkwardness. I mean, I've always loved Adalind, she's always felt more fun wicked witch than most versions that Hollywood makes today. And you see her upbringing surfacing in these episodes. Her not wanting to use Nick's money, because who knows what debt she might incur etc. She didn't say so, just my perspective; but her with her Mom, Renard, the two old ladies in Germany, and the Princes it's always been bargaining & power. Nick is nothing like that & she isn't sure how to read him. Did you see her face when he hugged her? That must be so strange, not just because of their pasts, but because of her own past. Comfort for the sake of comfort might be strange to her. Anyway, I love this season, and this show. The character development & story progression feels unique & genuinely fun to watch. I'm glad you're loving it & Trubel's back! What happened to her? Trubel isn't somebody easy to hurt. Hope you're having a great week Dakara, with an even better weekend to come.

There are several things about this episode that need to change. 1) a dying man blames his son's death on his son's best friend and invokes a Wesen tradition that obligates his daughter to marry the Wesen that kills the man that he blames for his son's death. The dying man shows an amendment to his will that leaves his company to the one that marries his daughter. 2) The daughter has had power of attorney over her father for 6 months and run the company. She also secretly married her brother's best friend. 3) 1 of the 3 Wesen involved in this challenge is the new detective that Hank has been assigned to work with. A dying Wesen has assembled 3 young male Wesen of his type to participate in a tradition for the hand of his daughter. The one who kills the man he blames for the death of his son will get his daughter and his import/export company. The marked man owns a successful night club. The attorney calls the daughter about the amendment her father wants to make to his will causing her to visit him and he tells her what he has done. She attempts to call her husband, but he has left his phone in his office. She arrives just in time to fight off the first of the contenders for her hand and both of them end up injured. The daughter tells her husband what is happening so he can protect himself. The mayoral candidate, another man and the detective are having a meeting. They discuss a complaint being lodged against Sean and Hank concerning the Wesen children, the decrease in funding to the mayoral candidates race, and the detective being on the maiden quest. There is obvious friction between the mayoral candidate and the detective about who will be the leader's favorite. the meeting ends with the Latin phrase "free the hidden". The second attack the marked man defends himself and reports it after the contender has gotten away. Hank is assigned to the case. The mayoral candidate does some research learning that the dying Wesen is incapable of making changes to his will and that the daughter is married to the marked man. The detective steers the investigation to the dying Wesen while the leader goes to the home of the dying Wesen and kills him and his caretaker. Sean has to answer for his decision regarding the Wesen children and presents why each child ran away from foster care and they are pretty brutal. T sends Sean a report about the new detective. Sean goes to his office and prints it out before calling the detective in. The detective's transfer and identity are fake. the detective yells free the hidden in Latin while drawing his weapon and taking on his Wesen form. Sean defends himself in his Wesen form and shots are fired in Sean's office resulting in the death of the detective. Adalind is more comfortable now not having the telepathic connection with her son that she had with Diane. Monroe and Rosalie take their foster daughter to the spice shop, but she is not ready to interact with the public yet and stays in the back room.
