Wow I wouldn't want you working on my car using a pair channel locks to tighten down the coolant temp sensor and no Teflon sealant, not setting a good example!

Oil pressure installs in place of the stock sender/oil line (1/8"NPT) and there is nothing to install for the Volt gauge; the system monitors the power input to the control box.

I would like to use this system in my 74 Nova with a LS1 & 4l60E conversion. I'm using the new Holley Dominator system to control the engine a transmission, is the VHX compatible with my set up?

William, Thanks to the supplied sensors, our VHX systems can be used in nearly any application! The flexibility afforded by the solid state sensors for Oil Pressure, Water Temp and Speed, complete with weather-pack style harnesses allow VHX systems to find a home in hot rods of all types, regardless of drivetrain choice!

Ok but how did you calibrate the speedometer?

There are two methods to calibrate the speedo; both listed in the installation manual. Do you have a system you need to dial in?

Have it all hook up need zero the speedo for the tires with the GPS

I did an ls swap in my 69 chevelle and my th400 had a vss connection that I currently have my psi harness connected to. The vhx kits says to plug your supplied sensor into the vss, would i wire my vss wiring from my swap harness into the dakota digital box?

Thanks Abdulla, Absolutely! That is one of the benefits of this package, our sensors are designed for either stock, modified late-model LS conversions. Because our system includes the proprietary sensors, this allows a wide range of flexibility.
