In just a short amount of time, we have seen two giants claiming to be the sun god. What if whoever can make the strongest claim to the sun god position gets crowned king? Hajrudin might have needed a fitting devil fruit to get the throne, so he competed for the fire based logia. Loki just went for the "easy route" of killing the old king for his fruit. Maybe in the style of an assassination instead of honourable combat. Seeing Luffy in the sun god form might be what unites all giantkind after years of warring.

I agree that Hajrudin and Loki have different parents, but I think this is what happened. After Loki "killed" the previous King (I put killed in quotes since I still have doubts regarding this), a new King was put on the throne. Normally, the prince will inherit the throne. However, in this case, the prince killed the King, so it would not be a good move to allow him to he the King. So another Giant was crowned as King. Perhaps this New King is a relative of the previous King. Now, that New King is Hajrudin's father, not the previous King who was killed.

First: loki's fruit is a moon god fruit that masquerades itself as a sun god fruit, a slight nod to the fact that moonlight is just reflected sunlight. Second, I think he may have abilities not quite like hypnosis, but actually the ability to send anyone he makes eye contact with into a blind berserker's rage, attacking anything and anyone around them. Ok so luffy's fruit is gum gum fruit that stretches and much later it was revealed its sun god nika fruit so what exactly is common between rubber and the sun. Sun is made of plasma a unique state where the electrons go away from the nucleus which if you put in a different perspective you can say the electrons go free and far away like luffy can stretch far away, if plasma can be connected to the rubber aspect of luffy's devil fruit power. Another factor that plasma has that in order to exist it needs to be super hot, here comes ace's fruit the mera mera no mi, its a wild guess but what if mera mera no mi is the heat that luffy requires in order to obtain the literal powers of the sun.

My only problem with the Logia theory is that we're kind of out of elements? There's outliers like Karasu's Soot-Soot Fruit, but aside from that and maybe another or two that I'm forgetting, every Logia is a traditional element and frankly I don't see a "Sun-Sun" or "Solar-Solar" Fruit being a Logia, since I feel like it'd be a better form of both the Flame-Flame AND Glint-Glint Fruits. I think Loki's fruit is the Gomu Gomu no mi . ... I mean : the fruit passed through the Elbaf royalty is none other than the actual uncatalogued Gomu Gomu no mi , though to be the Nika fruit by Elbaf . Hajrudin being after the fire fruit specifically is an interesting detail. Because yes, Loki is the one who wants to bring about Ragnarök and he is technically a jötun (so, a giant) rather than one of the aesir like his brother Thor. But there are other prominent figures aswell and I think that the one who is interesting in this context is Surtr, leader of the fire giants of Muspelheim. Hajrudin with the fire fruit would be the next best thing.
