I haven't yet to unlock System Shock yet but I've been noticing that Creeping Venom is very useful, purely the reason why is that your target is constantly moving so it ticks a lot faster, stays on for a very long time if you're lucky and eats away at their health helping you get the kill a lot faster. Once I have System Shock unlocked then I'll be sure to give it a try. I main a Assassination Rogue and you've opened my eyes just that little bit more to see how customizable this spec really is. Master Poisoner is great, before I was using Hemo, I'm getting a lot more burst which is really great and still keeping a decent sustain DPS overall. With that Dal I shall say, keep up the vids and the streams, really helpful and for many people like myself an inspiration as a Rogue player... Keep up the good work

4:25 Another reason to go Vigor is the artifact talent for Vendetta that restores ALL of your energy when used, having that extra energy ups the burst ability tremendously.

Great video. In my opinion, it's almost always best to open garotte > cs. If you open cs > garotte, the garotte doesn't silence like it does if used first from stealth.

No. Against specs/classes that have physical cc it's a bad opener. You use garrote on a rogue, warrior, druid etc and you will end up in a stun as soon as you open. Against mages and warlocks, you can do this, but it makes little difference to the normal opener

Hemo > MP. Most of our damage comes from bleeds. As for Creeping Venom I find it to deal more damage, as ppl will try to run away from you (or chase you) keeping the dot for very long, thus dealing a lot of damage. If in the opener you get 4CP just throw in one Mut > Kidney. That will chain the stun. After the patch kingsbane will be better for filling that last cp.

Oh, and vs heals or casters open with garrote for the silence and to not get kidney on dr. Also you can vanish + garrote spam (it will silence 3 times in a row with no dr)/cheap shot.

Could you explain how you use Hemo when you play? I didn't take because it cost more energy in an already easily energy starved class as well as I didn't know how to properly use it, even though I considered it a better option. Just trying to improve my play a bit, thanks.

melee opener: cheap > garrote > hemo > mut if not at 5 cp > kidney > mfd > rupture caster/healer opener: garrote> hemo > mut > mut if not at 5 cp> kidney > mfd > rupture From there on just keep hemo up all the time.

I'm doing a lot of burst and taking classes down 1v1 with elaborate planning and venomous rush (alot of uptime with the buff, espcially combined with exsanguiate and vendetta resetting energy). I do want to experiment with marked for death. Thanks for the video !

internal bleeding isnt affected by venomous wounds. it says garrote and rupture only in the spell book.

Sub is the strongest than goes outlaw. Sub is easier and less random while outlaw has way better cc and some what similar dmg.

in terms of damage assignation is even better than other specs but it lacks utility, self heals, lots of cc removed too. Assassination is basically all in damage, kill and run type.

In 3s assassination is so good because of the raw damage. Can kill a healer by themself in mere seconds.

Sub is the most reliable pvp spec. It has default rogue cc + spammable stuns. It has good sustain damage, decent burst and god tier uptime with infinite teleporting. Also sub has nice sustain because it heals when shadow dance or stralth is up. Assassination is pure pressure and amazing burst. It loses in mobility and cc ...also it's easier to kill. outlaw is kind of an RNG spec, it's a less reliable version of assassination. But it doesn't lose the cc. I still find outlaw to be the least useful pvp spec. Mainly because the damage depends on your RNG, and it might not be there when needed.

MP increases Crippling, Envenom, DFA's damage. I believe it also increases Deadly Brew, Creeping, and System shock. I had System Shock for a short while and it was critting for 340k, so that's like a second Envenom going off.

bashez Makes sense then I figured I was seeing shit. I still like MP it would of been nice if it did affect those in some way, but it would probably be too much. Maybe make poisons harder to remove with MP.

yeah, I looked into it, it only makes actual poisons better, envenom damage does not change. I find the other two talents superior. 15% more dmg after finishers (how often do you use them in pvp), or hemo to make your bleeds hit for more.

AtheismF7W The extra slow with crippling and boosts to other poisons is nice for bgs. If it boosted those other abilities then that would be sweet. I don't know what they intended with Assassin and giving us all these abilities that don't scale off talents and Mastery. HE is a bit off in my rotation when using Vigor. It can get greedy if you're trying to get it on multiple targets too. I switch to HE in Skirms and will use DS. I will use Vigor if I get into a 3's Skirm. BGs I will typically leave MP on.

Also something i keep waiting for someone to bring up with the whole Deeper strat vigor debate is there is a artifact talent that gives you full energy. which scales better with a bigger energy pool. vigor gives you enough energy for another mutilate and then another free one after you use vendetta with urge to kill. so does the dmg from a 6 point rupture beat out two extra mutilates from an opener, the 10% energy regain from the fight and the freedom of not being starved in an opener?

Zachary Harris I've tried deeper strat and I feel like it's not a good talent for assassination mainly because it's based on multiple bleeds / poisons rather than one. We can argue that rupture does 150k ish more damage but with a bigger energy pool you can get a possible 200k mutilate crits which is better due to the fact you get more combo points off of crits and mutilate can give you up to 4 combo points. Deeper strat could work with venomous rush and exsanguinate to balance out the energy pool and get those sexy ticks that fill out your pool. in conclusion you can go deeper strat but that will most likely require you to use a different build and different openers etc

For PvP stats come from a template, your gear doesn't affect the stats. You get certain amount of stats (Agi, Stam, Haste, Crit, Vers, Mastery) based on your iLvL

leeching poison is fine, for pve and soloing. The reason it is not used in pvp is bc a)the amount you regain is minminal compared to how much damage people can dish out and this leads to b) crippling poison is far more useful in pvp and better overall.

in PvP healing is reduced, I believe. 10% leech is really bad in pvp as much as it gives "sustain".. Crippling is made so you can stick to targets, hence it's a better choice incase you need to kite or get to someone.
