I love Judy Dench since I saw her in As Time goes by, many years ago ,but that was a comedy so when I see her performance on new dramatic movies I was stunned ,she is just a great actress !

If you look at her performance in Notes on a Scandal, what she's saying is true. She portrays a layered person, slowly reveales all the aspects and characteristics of Barbara, what a genious Judi Dench really is!

Here in the USA we just love Dame Judy. She is a marvelous actress. I've seen her in Brit talk shows and she has a great sense of humor and is a very real person. She was so bad in Pride and Prejudice, but I loved her anyway...it was just the character that was so mean.
