I love Prince, but this was one of his few mistakes this movie right here, he got the hiring of Kristin Scott Thomas right. But him firing the director because he wanted complete control, and he thought that he knew enough now to take over the role of being a director with making this movie and all. Well, he was wrong as this movie was a disaster, it was just not a good movie. He's brilliant at making music, but he should have left the movie making to the professionals until he had learned enough to make movies himself.

A friend and I got to see her in the theatre. Originally, we got the cheapest tickets and were sort of sitting in the highest, darkest, most hidden part of the theatre, behind a column, but were just happy to be there, breathe the same air and *maybe* hear her act. When we got to the theatre, we'd been upgraded and were sitting not four metres from the scene in one of the best rows (and most expensive). We fantasised about her being so awesome she *obviously* had seen our names and immediately got us to sit in the front rows because we were (and are) such big fans.

The others are absolutely riveted,in a way that other guests that Scott Thomas might normally be paired with, might not be so into her story, this is classic , to have the guests be a great audience as well. i will even watch Mission Impossible I in order to see her !

The premier WAS in Wyoming because MTV ran a contest and the winner was to be Prince's date to the premier and a party was to be thrown with the winner's closest friends in attendance. It was a call in contest and a certain number caller was to be the winner. So the winner lived in Wyoming and MTV did a whole show around the premier. I remember it like it was yesterday. LOLLOLLOL. Also remembered I was taking high school French at the time and it was so cool that I could understand the few pieces of dialogue being said. It's been YEARS since I saw that movie. I remember the movie opens with Prince playing a piece of music on the piano (of course REALLY playing it having composed it also) and I loved all the music in that movie. Sigh.
