Ayton is more valuable to the blazers then herro is, and Miami never tanks so any picks they would get from Miami are low lottery at best. To get an expiring contract in jrue on top of it makes it just an all around better deal then what Miami had. Its a shame because I love Jimmy Butler but this move just wasn't in the cards.

I wasn't a fan of the Bucks for a long time. Now, I look at them as one of the great teams that has been around for a while. It is hard to maintain success without making changes to the team in the NBA, however it's been Giannis/Middleton/Lopez/Caunoughton(oops) and gang since before I graduated high school and now I would have graduated college. They've become one of the great cores of the past 10+ years.

I'm not willing to write off Jae Crowder based on his small sample size last year especially after sitting most of the season in Phoenix. He's been too good for too long to just be completely washed. Same for Malik Beasley. I think they both will contribute. Milwaukee does need a good backup PG.

They scariest part is that Giannis and Dame, 2 hyper driven and competitive guys, are going to be the most motivated dudes in the league. Giannis was just embarrassed in the 1st round and is publicly still pissed about it. Dame has made the playoffs every year of his career except the last 2 where his team made him sit out against his will to tank and he has to prove to himself that leaving his home team after 11 years was the right decision.

Andre Jackson Jr is a very interesting player. Numbers don't pop but he's a crazy athlete and solid passer/defender. The best way I can describe his game is like a point guard matisse thybulle (also a bad shooter). Whether he contributes I'm not sure but he's a fun player fs

I don't think the bucks depth is as bad as you say. Although I agree with all your other points, they definitely have 6 solid guys and 3 more that absolutely could be starter level players if things go ok for them . 6 being Dame, Giannis, Middleton, Lopez, Portis and Connaughton and then Crowder, Beauchamp, Beasley as the 3. you'd think that 2 of those 3 will prove useful in the playoffs and then suddenly you're at 8 rotation good rotation players and that is starting to be enough. Losing Allen is unfortunate though.

As a rockets fan Tyty could still be a decent player. There were several young players the rockets chose not to develop because we had so many. He was put behind daishen nix because one of silas or the front office thought he could be the next James harden (only half joking). Also Silas didn’t even run play for Jabari ( 3rd overall pick) so you know everyone getting garbage time was left out to dry. Might ne good if he has an actual coach to give him structure and guidance because he got lost in tithe shuffle here in Houston. Great vid btw

Milwaukee native here. I think we're going to regret this move but it should be a lot of fun. You have to guard dame 30 ft out leaving Giannis to roam. I'm not sure how defenses are supposed to deal with that. We also really need some clutchness at the end of games. Maybe we cannot get dame to play a little defense but I'm not holding my breath. Boston will still eat our lunch.

Allen only played as many minutes because of injuries so if Kris and the team stay healthy , it makes it less of an issue. Also I still do not know why Jay didn't play more last year and there is hope that he just wasn't given a chance and he can be productive again , at his best he is a great bench , fringe starter player. I like having Robin back on the team as well , he is at his best when on the same team with Brook and will at least come in and try hard. But yes overall they are missing one solid bench player that can rotate with the backcourt and could really use some veteran to hop on for a discount , it won't happen but one can hope.

I think you're being a little hard on TyTy Washington. He was a rookie on one of the worst teams (and worst-coached teams) in the NBA and he got jerked around all season bouncing back and forth between the G-League and the Rockets when he really should have straight-up had the backup point guard job over Nix. He was well-regarded coming into his draft class and considered a good value where the Rockets got him, and he lit the G-League on fire. Yeah, it's just G-League, and sometimes G-League superstars just never translate, but it's still a positive sign. Not saying he's the answer for Milwaukee fleshing out their bench rotation, but he might be a lot better than he showed.

Giannis is basically a 6'11 draymond that scores 20ppg more. While dame might be a worse steph but still great. We all witnessed how teams still had no answer for any steph PnR other than let the other 3 players open and hope they miss. I am very excited for Giannis to not be handling the ball so much and shooting so many bricks, but the reservation I have is more what dame can do off ball. I will have to look at his catch and shoot numbers, but I know they are low volume bc he's been The Only Star on the Team for his entire career. looking back on it now I understand the Steph Draymond comparison but specifically for the pick and roll. dame is the only other player where you can set a ball screen for him at nearly half court. Draymond has feasted off that short roll his whole career just being a great passer and having basically no scoring game. Giannis in a 4 v 3 at the top of the key sounds like a game over situation

Grayson Allen ended up in Phoenix in the trade and Toronto reportedly wouldn’t trade OG in a package for Dame, so I don’t know if you’re going crazy or whatever. I do wonder if maybe the Heat could have given a “better” offer of just more young players but Portland will get more whenever they flip Jrue so depending on what they get for him it could end up being a better deal for them.

Honestly, you're actually giving the 2021 Bucks too much credit on offense, regardless of Middleton. I literally can't think of a title winner with a worse offense. Honestly, I can't think of a worse title winner period, they were like a worse version of the 03 Spurs on BOTH ends of the court, and that offense was literally just prime Timmy. Like their 'elite' RS offense literally got exposed, by defenses that weren't even that good, and STILL won a ring, it was unreal. Dame fixes all their problems though, he provides the kind of offense that can't be game planned, which is Giannis' weakness, and that's ASIDE from any synergy. I literally can't think of a more ideal fit, the strengths are too many to count.

You shouldn't be giving up on Jae Crowder so quick. He missed most of the season last year from sitting out and then injury.. give him a full regular season and you'll see Jae Crowder will be a decent playoff rotational piece. Clowning on AJ Green is another mistake. AJ shot 42% from 3pt as a Rookie. He's gonna be a floor spacer and get some of those Grayson Allen regular season minutes.
