Unboxing of the Condor Bushlore and the Condor Huron. Her we take a closer look at 2 Condor knives. The Bushlore that many Bushcrafter already know as a pretty good Bushcraft knife in a bit soft steel. Then we have the Huron a knife that Condor realest in 2017 in 1095 steel, a bit harder steel that more common in the Bushcraft community. 2 good looking knives, i hope they preform as well.

I bought the Huron and the Large Huron, and love them for batoning. The Large Huron fits better in my hand, while the smaller Huron you have fits nicely in my wife's small hands. Now I just need a nice scandi grind for making feather sticks, and it looks like the Bushlore is my best option that isn't a Mora. Thanks for showing these!

That Huron is awesome looking I love that they are convex grinds, also 1095 is a huge upgrade I'm way happy that they are doing this. The bushlore is a great knife BUT they do have issues with being soft....I have found that if you give them a natural microvex they work just fine. Another good change is the laser stamp, the old way caused rusting inside the stamped words but patina worked to help that yet still getting crap built up inside is a pain. Cool unboxing esp in HD 720 50Fps really gives an excellent view thanks for that!😉

I just bought the Condor Bushlore and I too noticed that the blade is now etched and not stamped. Also the sheath is different. The belt loop was stitched od the earlier knives and mine, like yours, is riveted. Hopoefully those are the only areas where the makers have chepened up on.

Yes I notes this to when I was looking around for this knife. But the knife and steel seams to be as good as all was.

Thanks. I like the convex grinde but not so much the handel. I prefer the Bushlore. The Huron is more for show 😉

I've been looking at that size Condor knives, it would be nice to have one as a companion to my Condor heavy duty kukri. Although I've just ordered a Tops Tahoma and Cold Steel AK47 so might have to wait a while! New sub DG, I watched your videos on the Hultafors axe as well, how I found your channel. That's the axe I would choose, very nice.

Say Heah DG, I also like Dangler's, Infact Casstrom has Dangler Extentions, I got mine from BladeHQ, You can put it on and off very simply, and they come in different colors. Yeah their spring loaded a carabiner type. Dilly Dilly.,,.p

DG Outdoor Life Actually you just need a couple to color match, They are easy to put on and take off, so a bunch isn't really necessary. Dilly Dilly.,,.p
