So lucky you were to learn from Larry. How would you describe Dan's father as a teacher? I would LOVE to hear more about him. I miss Dan Folgenburg. Was SO upset when he died. Dan didn't believe in doctors and sadly passed from an illness so preventative with proper testing, but it's his choice for sure. TY

How this transcends time and families. Many people have experienced this...as I am now. My father is 94 and is finally winding down. He played in the first touring group of the NC Symphony at age 14, played in the Army Band touring the world and taught music at App State along with teaching band at numerous high schools, finally conducting a local community band to his final days. He introduced me to many aspects of music, from classical to jazz to comedy. I will always be grateful and this song says it all.

Dan belongs in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and I hope everybody listening to this video will write to them and tell them that. I did and am planning on doing it again. I think the more fans that write to them the better chance he has of getting in. I miss him but love the fact I can listen and watch anytime I want. That is often.

I'm curious if he'd ever want to be there. I under your frustration. But never once did or have I heard that desire from him. Do you play? (anything) The first song (full LOL!) I learned to play was "Looking for a Lady". The same year that the album came out that it was on (his first). Does anyone, the people that want him in the "HOF" understand, that an easy 90% of the people already "in" wouldn't have the talent to carry his empty guitar cases???

In honor of Antoinette St Pierre, Gone but not forgotten, love those that are so absolutely important in your life, you don't know how much time you have left to say those words that are so easily said, " I LOVE YOU"; "YOU ARE SPECIAL" or "MY LIFE WOULD HAVE AN EMPTINESS INSIDE IT, THAT NO ONE COULD EVER FILL"/ or anything else that would let that person know how special they are to you. The clock is ticking away folks, and before you know it, times' up. God Bless you all, those who are suffering the loss of Toni St Pierre, but also their own personal pains of loss, take solace, there is another life, a reunion, the more it goes, the more this is also scientific evidence, that there is more after this, and it isn't bad/keep the faith, God Bless you all. Sincerely, Lisa Shears and feel free to chat privately if you feel the need to vent or talk, whatever, I'm a great listener, and can actually be one of the people who will be able to say; I do in fact know how you feel, I've been through many losses, from young to old, so I do understand how you are feeling, God Bless you again, Lisa
