I have a suggestion for you and Steve to do. One album for each of your channels. Knights of the New Thunder and Intuition from TNT. These guys don't get enough love! Ronnie LeTekro is a killer shredder ala Gary Moore's metal days and Tony Harnell is very much in the vein of Robert Fleischman and Mark Slaughter. I'm lookin' forward to hearing how you guys feel about those two albums!

I can definitely do those TNT albums! I've added it to the list! I will talk to Steve about it also! (may be a month before I get to it though...) :)

Thanks Guys. I now know which tracks to skip if I ever find this album on C.D. I only found Vinnies first album recently, pity the review of that is in the " Lost Tapes " pile😄 For me Vinnie is a bit like Jimmy Page. I wish he had put out more material over his career. Fun show!.

Yep, the review of the first album and World Peace solution is lost forever... :( After LZ though. JP had a few good things in the 80s and early 90s? The Firm, Outrider, the Death WIsh II soundtrack (yes I own that) :) And Coverdale/Page? Thats all I know off hand... but VV only released those 2 albums + 1 EP...

@@offthecharts2272 Out of that Jimmy list I only really like Coverdale/Page to be honest. I had everything you mentioned at one point or another.

I have not listened to this album in so long! I had to go back and revisit it before commenting lol. I still own this on cd but I'll bet I haven't played it in 20 years. Ashes to Ashes...good opener 7/10 Dirty Rythym... this was always one of my favorites and is still my second favorite on the album. One of two songs I have revisited a few times over the years 8/10 Love Kills....it's ok 6/10 Naughty Naughty...it's also ok lol 6/10 Burn....I didn't remember this until I relistened to it... and again, it's ok lol 6/10 Let Freedom Rock....I remember the song title, AND I remember the Star Spangled Banner, but I thought it was it's own track at the end of the album for some reason. I like the Star Spangled Banner but this feels like a cheesy and unnecessary addition here, yet it's far more memorable than the song that comes with it. 5/10 That Time of Year.... here we go, BY FAR the best song on the album! 10/10 Heavy Pettin'.... now I am a lyrics guy, depending on the artist. Some bands I accept the lyrics aren't too be taken too seriously *cough*KISS, while others I like primarily because of their lyrics. Lyrically this song is terrible but it's fairly catchy...7/10 Ecstasy....I remember this song, but I don't remember disliking it this much! This was painful 😮 ...1/10 Deeper and Deeper.... don't remember it but it's a catchy song, except, as you kept saying, the chorus is a major Let down... could have been better...7/10 Breakout....I agree with the Body Talk comparison but Body Talk is far better... still a good song though...7/10 All in all, I remember what I liked about this album when I got it... but I also understand why I haven't played it in so long lol I'm not a big fan of Mark Slaughter's vocals but I think the biggest criticism I have is that Vinnie's guitar work, while good, feels over self indulgent at times. There's a fair amount of cheese here, which isn't always bad (after all I am a KISS fan too lol and my favorite band did release 7800° F lol) but it's kinda too much in places lol

I think we may all be on the same page regarding this album! :) As for Vinnie's Self Indulgent playing, if you find this one bad, I'm curious to see what you feel about the FIRST album (that one is 10x more self indulgent!) :)

@offthecharts2272 so I had to go listen to the first VVI album... and while the playing is good, the thought I kept having was, no one likes a show off, Vinnie! He's trying to hit us over the head with how talented he is it seems.... some good songs. I do remember Baby-O, catchy song. No Substitute is my new favorite song off of Boston's Third Stage, which is where it sounds like it came from lol I did like it though, it's probably a bit more memorable than most of All Systems Go but I'm not sure which album I like better

@@themindseyecmh His guitar solos aren't even IN KEY... they are TOO LOUD... And yes, I agree the first one is more memorable (not all for GOOD reasons), it's annoying! The siren at the end of the last song (2 minutes and 30 seconds... 1 song has a OTT drum roll over and over...) LOL
