Dan Seals - They Rage On Official Music Video (1988)

Here’s the official music video for the 1987 song They Rage On by Dan Seals. I found this on dailymotion and ripped the video. I think this video is very compelling and powerful. From Wikipedia: “The music video was directed by Neil Abramson. This video, in particular, played on the song's theme of the irony of small-town values with the depiction of an inter-racial relationship. In it, a white teen-aged boy falls in love with an Asian girl, angering the boy's friends to the point they vandalize the boy's car; one boy attempts to assault the girl's father by hurling a beer bottle at him (the bottle misses).” Ownership/copyright belongs to the respective owner. We did this song (along with a few other Dan Seals songs) with my band back in the 80's and early 90's. Had the privilege of meeting Dan Seals. He was playing in our town and I noticed an older tour bus parked in front of our local doughnut shop. The marquee on the front of the bus simply said, "BOP." Sure enough, I went inside the shop and there he was. From England Dan to Dan seals...Great guy! When I heard he died, I was driving across Interstate 80, in southern Wyoming. Within moments of hearing the news on the car's radio, the Northern Lights became visible to my left. In all my years of living in Wyoming, it was the only time I ever saw the northern lights in southern Wyoming.

Dan was truly a wonderful human. I had breakfast with him when came to visit mutual friends in Casa Grand Arizona. He is missed by so many of us.

Dan was so underrated as an artist and song writer but this song proves how awesome he was but he never had a bad song even in the England Dan and John Ford Coley days in the 70's...RIP Dan I love you and thanks for the music

LOVE This song 💙 . As a 70s child I was exposed to A lot of Great Music. My Mom loves this song. When Something is Great you know it. Dan Was The Man. Also a Awesome Sax player. Playing a 12 string guitar, turned around backwards an upside down with 4 strings missing. I can remember country songs I heard in my crib. I knew Rhinestone Cowboy when I was 3 or 4 years old. My Dad tells me a story about me singing 3rd Rate Romance when I was maybe 4 years old at the dinner table at Grandma's house. GREAT MUSIC NEVER GETS OLD. THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES ❤️ Mr. Dan. 👍

Best time in country music!! Dan was original and pure somehow I never appreciated him as my mom’s favorite singer because I was only 8-9 when this came out but she’d play it on cassette tape in our vehicle man I really miss everything about those times
