They're not even close and Severn is probably the most prodigious MMA fighter, ever, given his opponents and record. I give props to others and someone like Tank who goes into the Octogen, too, but I'm not quite sure how Tank has acquired the monicker of 'legend' when he lost far more often than won (?) and I know quite a bit about fighting. As with bawlroom brawling, the guy who wins is usually the one who's most apt to fire a sucker punch first and then not give a flying 'F' as to what he uses to hurt someone. So, there's even less sportsmanship there than there was in the street fighting I was involved in. Tank's quite tough, but also to my knowledge he never developed much of a ground game and if you don't have that in the MMA, you're toast. Best combination seems to be someone well trained in boxing and a master in Jiu Jitsu!

Really enjoyed this video!! Both of these guys are so amazing. Their life, experiences, commitment, and stories could keep me glued for hours. Because of Tank's street fighting stories he would be fascinating to talk to. I'm a few years older than him and grew up in an era where you had these streets fights and bare fisted fights like in the Clint Eastwood movie where Tank got his nickname from. I was born and raised in Atlanta and we had our share of tough guys. I knew a couple of career bouncers and they were so much like Tank as far as loving to fight. One club they worked at got closed down because these two guys would not just throw you out of the bar, they'd follow you outside and beat the crap out of you. I'm looking forward to ordering Tank's books.

Me and my buddies watch the first UFC years ago and I remember Big Jim Brown saying I can picture UFC number 175. The rest is history.

Tank's voice never matched his look, unlike Don Frye. Severn is a class act. One of my all time favorites.

It's cool seeing these two sitting together. Total badasses with total opposite personalities. It almost feels like they'd make a great comedy together.

What a decent good man Dan looks, looks great with age. Seems a really cool bloke, the type you can have a beer and good company with. Layed back and cool.

Tank needed intervention and jail time back in his bar brawl days. He was so deeply insecure and so abused himself, he’s like a poster child for these kinds of cases. He has a kind side and is very bright. Best thing is that he didn’t have kids, so cycle of abuse stopped. And I feel great sympathy for him because he is a true victim. Severn is a class act. A poster child for good parenting for the most part.
