We are the Vasc Nation! He plays guitar, keyboard and obviously harmonica. But his first and foremost instrument is that voice that he worked for over a decade and half to develop to this incredible level. His range and his vocal toolbox seem limitless. He has had extensive training and it shows. Dan Vasc demonstrates that indeed archangels sing metal in Heaven. This 250 year old beloved classic has waited all this time for someone to be able to punctuate its message with this kind of power. (It is impossible to oversell this amazing singer.) Dan Vasc has stated he is a Christian and put this song out for Easter. His band Fearless has put out one album "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom." Its songs are based on biblical and mythical themes. I'm a PK (Preacher's Kid) and have heard this performed, and performed it thousands of times throughout my 55 years. Dan ABSOLUTELY 💯 has the best rendition EVER! (Imho) He absolutely blows everyone else out of the park. I've listened to this since 3 weeks after he released it. Multiple times a day and it still gives me chills and moves me to tears. I truly believe that God ordained/inspired Dan to do this song "for such a time as this". When our world is in turmoil and more divided than ever. People are looking for hope and meaning, and nothing gives TRUE hope and meaning like God's amazing grace!! I feel like all of Heaven stood still when Dan performed this. We’re the Vasc Nation, and we love him so much. There are sooooo many songs you need to react to. “Gethsemane” is fantastic, he also does “Music of the Night”, from The Phantom of the Opera, plus two other songs from that play. “Bring Me To Life”, “My Immortal”, “Nessun Dorma”, “Black Wind Fire and Steel”, just to name a few. Dan has said on one of his videos that he doesn't like performing live, though he has done shows in the past. His Gethsemane performance is an experience, and has had others wondering if Dan studied acting as well.

Thank you guys for the entertaining reaction! I love it when folks who haven’t heard Dan’s Amazing Grace react to it. He is phenomenal, isn’t he? Did you know AG by Dan was No. 4 last week on a Metal list (can’t remember name). Guns N Roses was No. 1, Disturbed was 5th. Dan was pleased. IMO Dan should be known everywhere. I’m old (really!), and I’ve never come across a talent like his. Complete package, he is!

I love how absolutely tender, raw & delicate he started the song even with the slight echo & with each verse exposing more talent & intensity. Dan Vasc has a God given talent that he has perfected over years of hard work into what it is today, devine & magnificent!!! He sang this song the way it was MEANT to be sung with such RESPECT, emotion & with a POWERFUL impact. I FELT the presence of GOD!!! The harmonica is not emulating Southern, it's emulating Celtic bagpipes. The single bass drum hits are doing the same thing, emulating the bass drum line in a pipe band performance of Amazing Grace

If you want to hear Dan singing metal, watch Black Wind Fire and Steel. He holds the last scream for 30 sec. He does the best growls in Bring Me to Life. To answer your question if he does live performances, the answer is yes. He and his band Fearless perform at concerts.

At present Fearless, the metal band Dan and friends formed a while back, only performs live in Brazil. Fearless has recently recorded new music and it should be released shortly. I hope it's available on CD but will have to wait for that info. Check them out, too! The harmonica was given to Dan at age 7 by his father, who passed away from cancer a few years ago. He did a beautiful tribute to his dad who was a huge Elvis fan. You can find it on his website. His mother sang opera so Dan has a marvelous musical pedigree but it took him some time to decide this was the route he wanted to go professionally. I'm delighted that he did. As others have already said, "Hail Vasc Nation!"

Dan is amazing!!! A group you should check out is Steelheart. They're good recorded & live & their lead singer is amazing!!!! He sings high. It's not screaming, it's his natural voice. "I'll Never Let You Go, Can't Stop Me Loving You, She's Gone" are ones you need to do. They have an unplugged live version of "She's Gone" that you need to do. No auto tune here.

Outstanding are his interpretations of Gethsemane Jesus Christ Superstar and Nesum Dorma. The entire Witcher series and its Disney covers are out of this world. The selection of songs is huge. He's a really great artist. He puts his own stamp on every song. He has put together an album, Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom, with his band Fearless. He films, lights and edits himself. ♥️. I don't know if you you seem to have heard some of his music before but he sings The Witcher The sound of silence amazing Grace eye of the tiger going to Make a Man out of you Sweet child of mine there is just so many more songs I'm not even naming his amazing and he does each one of them with just different different styles and different vocals and just he does a lot of women songs as well there ain't nothing I've heard him saying that he isn't just truly outstanding and amazing his voice just won't quit truly amazing person you're going to go a long way I got a long way to go

He was obviously born with talent but he has emphasized over and over that extensive training enabled him to be able to produce this. He was informed early on that he could ruin his voice unless he learned proper technique. He has a whole routine when he sings in order to preserve his voice. This man truly respects the instrument he was given.

I remember hearing somewhere that all great rock singers have a technique that sounds like they're straining on high notes much more than they actually are which is amazing, hence saving their voices. There's a Canadian girl that can sing very well and emote her feelings as well. You should check her out, Faouzia, you should go for anything that is her 'stripped' version, just because you can hear more of her voice and emotions than the produced mv's. Possibly the best one to start with would be Born Without A Heart, or Bad Dreams, or You Don't Even Know Me. Tears of Gold is her signature song, it is great, but I think the other three have a bit more emotion in them. I enjoyed your reaction and comments for this song, Dan Vasc is awesome! I have 4 tattoos - 3 guitars are mine - my wife has multiple faith based tattoos - and Amazing Grace in all forms is a favorite song. 🙂
