At the end of the video, it was cool to hear him express his gratitude over 50k subs and now he is close to 1 million! Very inspirational! If you have time to watch some of Dan's non-music videos you can really get a sense of who he is. He's wise beyond his years, very articulate, and has a healthy outlook on life. He's been open about some of his struggles yet he's come so far. It's quite inspiring.

Dan's cover is of the band Angra with lead singer Andre Matos. Dan greatly admired Andre's amazing falsetto and worked hard on this song to give it his full respect. Andre died at a young age several years ago and was one of Dan's inspirations. I cannot imagine how either of them could sing those notes, but they are masterfully done. Garrett J. Peters is the guitarist on this one, and had done several with him including the fantastic My Heart Will Go On. I am really loving your reactions to Dan's music and hope you will continue to do more. Thanks.

Mind-boggling, isn't it? And also incredibly difficult. This is Dan as the complete master of his incredibly beautiful and flexible instrument. I especially love his smooth and gorgeous transitions between different registers. The guitarist is Garrett Peters. who just played with him on My Heart Will Go On. Thanks for another reaction, and for playing the outro. It's always interesting listening to him (even when he's pontificating 😊).

Thank you for another great reaction! I love Kate Bush’s original, but Dan’s cover is amazing! Imagine singing that high for an entire song! Crazy… You mentioned the raw emotion he portrays. Check out his cover of “Son of Pain”. He gets quite emotional at the end, but somehow manages to deliver a stellar performance. I truly enjoy your reactions! ❤️

When I was 13, I read the book "Wuthering Heights," and fell in love with it, even though it's quite strange, and very sad. So I immediately fell in love with this song, the first time I heard it. I had never heard the Kate Bush original or the Angra version. However, by the time I DID listen to this song, sung by Dan, I also had heard his tribute to André Matos -- "Carry On," -- so I understood why he could do what he's done here. The guitarist is Garrett J. Peters -- the same man who played both types of guitars for Dan's version of "My Heart Will Go On." From the date Dan posted "Wuthering Heights" (June 28, 2019) when he was at 50,000 K subs, to when he posted "Amazing Grace" (April 7, 2023), the subs had increased to 642,000. Now, only three weeks away from a full year from that post (it's March 16, 2024 as I'm writing this), the subs have reached 971,000 (which, by the way, is WAY behind Nerdrotic's 997,000 right at this moment...sigh, which pretty much means we are going to get to hear Dan sing an interesting song written "just for Dan" by Gary (Nerdrotic), sometime in the next few days. If you would like to watch a video that Dan produced when he hit 500,000 subs, just ask me on Patreon, and I'll give you the information. (That information will disappear if I try to even hint to it, here...I know, because I already tried...sigh.) Thank you very much for the wonderful and fun reaction to this song. I really loved it. 😀

Dan did vocal calisthenics on this one, and totally NAILED IT DOWN effortlessly! Loved your comments on Dan’s range! 🔥🔥🇧🇷❤️👏🏼The closing remarks Dan makes are so good and true. Most people shy away from the hard times or try to avoid them, but if you see it as “testing your metal”, it makes it bearable. ⚔️ The fire, the hammering, the sharpening and the plunging are all necessary to make the steel strong, yet flexible enough to not break. The forging is not fun, but it is necessary in order to be a warrior that can have breakthrough victories.💥Dan has quoted a Brazilian proverb that says, “When in hell, hug the devil”. I would have to add that if you find yourself in hell, boomerang all that crap the devil hit you with back to him, then hug him so tightly that you snap his neck so he can never afflict you ever again! Excellent reaction, I love this and have watched him sing it many times and it always throws me a bit. Dan is a very masculine guy and yet he sings a female part and nails it! There is nothing he can't sing! BTW, for the other extreme of his range, you should listen to his Rains of Castamere for the lowest notes I have ever heard him sing. His range is amazing.
