Dan Wainwright - Old Country Songs

This is a song which is a tip of the hat to all the music that really helped me get the ball rolling to start to discover my true self. There's not much else to it other than that. You'll just hear in the song how that music was a companion to me. Nelson, Prine, Blaze, Townes, Dylan, Doc, Merle and Cash. All got a name drop. There's plenty more, but they were the ones who sounded good in the lyrics.
It's maybe the most 'pop and radio ready' song on the new album. The songs on the new album generally aren't following any real or standard structure. They're all like little hikes and adventures. But this one is neat and tidy like a radio song.
