BTW- look up General Stewart's WWII record if you weren't aware of it. He was the first major actor to be in uniform (pre-Pearl Harbor), and one of the very few to go from Private to Colonel in 4 years (and deserving every bit of it). And by all accounts as genuinely a nice guy as he appeared on screen. Now I gotta listen a few more times. :D
