I bought this countertop dishwasher in 2008 or 2009. I needed help to hoist it onto the kitchen counter. Served me well for several years, but somewhere around 2015 or 2016, it began to leak out the bottom. Since I’m a renter, I had to figure out how to get a few layers of vapour barrier plastic sheeting (the only thing I, thankfully, happened to have on hand) under it as fast as I could because: 1. I didn’t want any further damage done to the kitchen counter or lower cupboard, and 2. I could not remove it from the countertop because, although I live in a townhouse, it’s a very small one and I have nowhere else to put it (not that I could move it on my own) and no one to help me remove it from my home. Since then, it’s become a very large paperweight taking up a great deal of space on my kitchen counter. I would like to get a much smaller portable dishwasher (there weren’t any smaller ones available when I bought this one), but I really need help getting rid of this one first because I need room for a new one and I need to find one that I can lift. I’m 60 now and disabled with arthritis and fibromyalgia, so weight is going to be a big factor. It becomes really hard on my back to stand at the counter and wash dishes by hand. By the time I’m done, my back aches so much that I have to rest for a long while before I can do any meal prep. I would like to get a Daan Tech Bob, but I live in Canada and they don’t sell them here yet. I’m beginning to wonder if they ever will.

It's the iron in steel that makes it magnetic reactive. Stainless removes the iron to prevent rusting and also removes the receptivity. Non magnetic receptive is a sign of quality ss.

Thanks . I just bought the same one . Like new . I noticed you have to wash it all before using the dishwasher . It does not clean that well

was your faucet turned on already? was it using hot water? and did you have to purchase a faucet adapter or did it just screw on your regular faucet?

OMG!!! At :17 seconds you have BOTH a hard drive and Dvd Rom below on shelf, sandwiched between a dishwasher and laundry machine??!!!

URGH! I cannot BELIEVE you used 10 minutes and 49 seconds to say what could've been said and done in 3, while not addressing anything important, i.e. water hook ups/usage, necessary adapters, etc.

I mean it is a review, not an instructional video. There is a difference.

@sweetstuff07 - I turned the faucet on when I hooked up the dishwasher to the faucet. It takes a little adapter to screw into the faucet. it should come with it, but you can get then at a hardware suite for under $5 compared to $15 online. You must leave the faucet running until the end of the cycle because it gets fresh water a few times. The water doesn't constantly flow into the dishwasher.

Mine came with the adapter. I always ran my hot water tap until the water was hot before I turned the dishwasher on.
