Thank you so much for bringing attention to Jon Mess’s greatness. I love Tilian and his vocals are other worldly but Jon’s are just as amazing for his vocal genre as well. Not to mention, the first thing I look for in any Dance Gavin Dance music video is Jon and to see what kinda crazy shit he’s doing. Even during Tree City Sessions 2, the little things he does just seem to show he’s gotta be a really cool, low key guy

I had a similar reaction to you, too. Bittersweet to see Tim just jamming away, doing his thing and knowing that he’s no longer here. I bought the JJ album and I had a couple of listens on my own, just to cry and appreciate Tim’s pure talent and passion. This is definitely one of my favourites off the album.

dude were you crying at the end? im not tryna talk shit.. i just thought you had something in your eye but then you mentioned Tim. i totally wasnt expecting him in this one either since he was only in the first half of "Die Another Day" (ima mention this video later) i was thinking he passed away before they could finish the video. yeah, this band is really special to me. my brother passed away on the day they released the video for "One In A Million" (07.14.2020) 4 days after our mom's birthday and 8 days before mine. 3 days later we had a viewing for him and that same day dgd had their virtual concert for Afterburner and i had to miss it (have watched it since then) Anyone that knew my brother would definitely agree that he truly was one in a million AND this year on July 14th they released "Die Another Day" what a fuccin song name, right.... lol So the fact that "One In A Million" and "Die Another Day" were relased two years apart on July 14th hit me hard.... yeah seeing Tim can be emotional. i just saw them a couple weeks ago and it was hard to not miss him but kudos to Sergio Medina for stepping in and killing it. RiP bro & Tim
