Something about listening to Aussies banter is always a joy. Used to date a girl that had a father straight from Australia. He had some family members over from down under one time, and I remember that the more they drank- the harder it was to understand them. But it was still hilarious. And none of this is related to your video. 😂 About your video: Priceless moment in the beginning of the song when you lads started grooving, then paused to banter. Subscribing for quality. 👌

100% agree that there is always some part of the composition thats going a million miles/hour, but I feel like they do such a good job grounding it by incorporating something like a half time drum section or maybe a guitar line running sustained notes up high. Check out "Nothing Shameful" off the Afterburner album, Andrew has a great vocal section on that track. It's insane how much talent is shoved into this one band.

If you wanna hear a song where Jon's vocals are really crazy compared to normal, check out "Say Hi" off of their album Afterburner. He does most of the vocals for the song, and it's a really good one in general.

I remember Nath bashing Jon's timing on Mutual Fear, but I'm so glad you digged the rap-part in this video :) Best part of the song for me! And you should revisit som Dance Gavin Dance songs, start with Artificial Selection and give it a whole listen. But if you don't dig it you never will because you're probably missing the weedily weedily gene, explained in detail here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJ3bnKWcpriYqbs Regarding Andrew Wells from Eidola: He's been a touring guitarist for DGD for many years and has done backup vocals in some songs (uncredited) and featured in two songs (Evaporate, which imo is DGD's best song by far, and in Nothing Shameful from their latest album). Now he's become an official member of DGD and will definitely do some vocal tracks on their upcoming album as well as doing a lot of guitar work along with Will Swan. Edit #2: Since you guys like pop-punk a lot you should listen to "Story of my bros" (which they wrote as a tribute song to all their own pop-punk favorites) and their cover of "Semi-Charmed Life"
@teamkeithgaming4998

SAME HERE JOHNNY, SAME. Altho i gotta say, i really enjoyed this song more than the others. But still, idk, i cant really get THAT into them. I think it's just that the bass and the guitars and drums sound like 3 totally different elements add to that the vocals/screams. The structure of the songs feels very separate, ig. But there's one song i absolutely LOVEEE by them, it's called NOTHING SHAMEFUL and am so sure you'd love it!!!

The Rob feature and background brought this track to a 10 for me. DGD is also such an interesting band because of the members. At the end you said you wanted to hear more of the screamer, which is exactly what secret band is. Secret band has the screamer, drummer, and main guitarist and both albums are just as varied as DGD albums. Highly reccomend trying the song Biblee or projectile comet, but you could add both albums to a vibey metal playlist too.
