What’s sad is that this show probably did end up messing up the kids. Chloe is in therapy right now, which is really good considering the amount of trauma she went through. It’s going to be interesting to hear more from the dancers as they grow older and start speaking up about the exploitation that went on. All the adults on this reality show were abusive to some extent and it’s pretty sad.

Of course, they were under contracts, but even after these sorts of incidents happened, they remained with the show for a long time and allowed the producers to showcase the kids in ways that were inappropriate. A child shouldn't have been the one advocating for herself.
