In the comics Hulk is physically the strongest (not the most powerful) marvel character. His high end feats include deystroying an entire dimension, deystroying a universe, and deystroying the entire multiverse. His base level feats include Catching and supporting a collapsing 150 billion ton mountain range using barely any leverage. (Marvel Heroes Secret Wars #4) Tearing through a bunker designed to resist the explosion of a multi-kilo-ton weapon. (Incredible Hulk #177) Matching the Super-Adaptoid, who had acquired strength and durability of over a hundred heroes like Iron Man and the Vision. (Incredible Hulk #469) Closing the door of a nuclear core that the combined efforts of Thor and the Thing couldn't budge. (Iron Man Vol 2 #6) Redirected Gladiator's beams back to his eyes, instantly knocking him out. The blasts were said to be hotter than the sun. (Incredible Hulk Annual 1997) Matching two Avengers teams during a prolonged period of time even though the Hulk was gradually weaker due to a physical separation from Banner (Incredible Hulk #321-322) Unleashing intense gamma energy shock waves from his body, Hulk almost destroyed the entire East Coast with a single footstep, while also threatening to destroy the entire planet... and even then he was revealed to be greatly holding back! (World War Hulk #5) Destroying the Crypto Man after its physical strength became superior to that of even Thor (Incredible Hulk #205) Overpowering Thor on several occasions (Hulk: Let the Battle Begin #1, Incredible Hulk #440, Mighty Thor #385, Avengers Assemble #4) Pushing two spheres of matter and antimatter apart (Marvel Team up Annual Two #2) Pulling and holding the tectonic plates of a planet together, a planet that's mass and gravity far exceed that of Earth (Incredible Hulk #99) overpowering sufficient force to change the orbit (Tales of astonish #89) Destroying a planet and the surrounding planets/moons in the Dark Dimension, threatening the entire dimensional/universal realm (The Incredible Hulks #634-635) Destroying an asteroid that's twice the size of Earth in a single blow (Marvel Comics Presents #52) Applying force to the space-time structure itself to prevent the Defenders from being absorbed into a fissure (Defenders #3) Smashing and crushing Adamantium with his bare hands (Incredible Hulk #228; Marvel Team-up Annual #2) Overpowering and shattering Onslaught's armor, whose power and armor were equal to those of a Celestial (Onslaught: Marvel Universe #1) Sending concussive energy through countless dimensions after clashing with Ironclad (Incredible hulk #305) Destroying Nightmare's Realm with his sheer power alone (The Incredible Hulk #299) Crushing the enchanted uru hammer of Nul: Breaker of Worlds with his bare hands when The Serpent/Cul and his avatars known as The Worthy were at the height of their power (Fear Itself: Hulk vs. Dracula #3)

The coolest line in the movie is "We know each other. He's a friend from work." What makes it the coolest is that the line was suggested by a "Make a Wish" Kid who's wish it was to visit the set of the movie. It's interesting to watch someone react to this who hasn't seen any trailers or promotion. Most of us who watched this in theaters had already seen the trailers and knew about 1) Thor's hammer breaking, 2) Thor's haircut, and 3) Hulk's appearance.
@chadbrisco40424 жыл бұрын
I never watch any of the trailers. I want to go into the movie or disney plus TV Show knowing as little as possible. The only thing I know is the name of the movie or tv show and who may be in the movie according to the title.
@vederianl97234 жыл бұрын
I really hated that they showed her breaking the hammer in the trailers. I get that they wanted to show how powerful she is but Hela catching the hammer would have been enough of an "Oh Sh!t!" moment for fans. Then seeing her break it in the movie would have been another shock.
@mannygee0054 жыл бұрын
I also never watch trailers for a movie that I absolutely plan to see in the theaters - when Hulk appeared I was so shocked I was beside myself! Later on I wondered if everyone knew ahead of time because that moment is absolute joy - shook just like Thor was too. I think the movie hinted at it by mentioning "green" champion or something and also the announcement that was interrupted ... "I give you, The Incredible -" but Hulk broke the doors before his name was revealed.
@scyphe4 жыл бұрын
I'm another one of those that never watch the trailers since they're full of spoilers and take away the "fresh experience" element. I'm content with knowing that a movie I'm interested in is coming, when it's coming and watching the poster. :)

I said this once but I'll say it again, The fact that this movie was over 70 percent unscripted and the cast had the most fun is why this movie stands out to me
@Imabassplayer24 жыл бұрын
Not quite, the film was scripted. Most of the jokes are in the script. Taika Waititi is a bit of a troll so when he said most of the film was unscripted he was lying. What I think Taika Waititi meant was probably not everything turned out as scripted. Maybe a few lines were changed or ad-libbed on set. "He's a friend from work" line was written by a kid from Make a Wish. So that line wasn't scripted I don't think, it was put in during filming as the kid was there during filming. It depends on Taika Waititi's definition and interpretation of what unscripted mean.
@woolensnail36633 жыл бұрын
@@Imabassplayer2 Well first let me say that actually Taika said 80% was improv because of the way he likes to direct, yes the movie was mostly scripted and ad-libbed but the reason he says that it’s improvised is because during filming instead of reading the script Taika would think of different lines and get the actors to say them instead of the actual line in the script. Also in some scenes he would say to the actors to just improvise such as the Get Help scene was not in the script nor was the “He’s a friend from work” line, I see what your saying in that the movie wasn’t entirely improvised and went of the script but in reality more of it is improvised than we think because of the directing style of Taika Waititi

I think lord of the ring was his "coming out" movies :P karl urban have always been the modern version of van damme/dolph lundgren with little better acting, karl have done so many b movies as well as great movies

btw that is for sure not his real name, Karl is Swedish or at least Scandinavian and the whole karl urban just sound like a super staged name :P KARL does not sound like a kiwi name, but maybe that is just me? :P he played The Executioner in this movie, a constant simp for the Enchantress(who was not in any of the mcu, he sister Amara was in Agents of shield tho)

Oh, Dogma is an absolutely awesome movie (and ironically the movie where Jay and Silent Bob are at their best compared to their own movies). Some epic actors and characters in that one (Chris Rock is hilarious).

It's funny. Karl Urban attempts a British accent in The Boys and everyone thinks he still sounds like he's from New Zealand. In this movie, he does his natural New Zealand accent and Mary thinks he sounds British.

The Collector (Benicio Del Toro) and Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) are "brothers" of a group called the Elders of the Universe. They existed before the big bang. And stave off boredom by being obsessed with one thing (Gardening, Running, Astronomy, ect;) IN the Grandmaster's case he is obsessed with all kinds of contests and games
@_UPRC4 жыл бұрын
Mary, I haven't watched your reactions since the Game of Thrones days, had no idea that you were doing the MCU. Gotta say it's nice to see you laughing your ass off instead of being kicked in the gut repeatedly by GoT, haha. This is definitely my favourite MCU movie. It's just the perfect storm with the action, cinematography, humour, and music all being on point.
@ivannovak34144 жыл бұрын
The Grandmaster and the Collector are brothers actually, as well as members of a group called the Elders of the Universe, basically a bunch of bored immortals who each live for a specific hobby (collecting, games, gardening, foot race, etc.) Hence the similar look. The relationship was never confirmed on-screen sadly (though a theme park mural by Ryan Meinerding exists of the two playing a game together).

I knew you'd love Korg the minute he was introduced. I don't think anybody could've pulled off that performance any better than Taika. And Jeff Goldblum? Uh, perfect casting choice for the Grandmaster! Love the fact that he's in Thor 4 (I saw the cast list, because, come on, he'd HAVE to be in it, right?)! Also, there's literally no way Hela's still alive. If she's in Thor 5, they better have an explanation for how she survived Ragnarok. As for Lady Sif, this is just a theory, but Loki likely banished her.
