You did a great job on this part of the video. I used to try to put tweezers up in those holes to grab the chains until I discovered using my magnetic screwdriver works so much better. The dancers and music are very clean and do a great job when played. You did great cleaning that all up. Good catch on using an ink pen tube for the plastic stopping tube. The factory tube is a piece of gasoline line that is used on model airplane engines. Black forest part number is a MBSLV. When aligning the bevel gears on the dancer platform it is easier if you open the little door on the side so that you can see the alignment. You are so lucky to have an older model that uses brass gears and steel shafts that makes up the dancing platform. The newer ones are made of all plastic, timesavers part number 17719. On the plastic models, what happens is the chain will come off the sprocket onto the bevel gears and when someone pulls on the weight It just breaks the gears up. This is a disaster. good luck with your future ventures and I can see that your subscriber base is starting to increase, and that’s a good thing.

I used a clamp to hold the music box to the Kunec cuckoo clock while I was adjusting the gears meshing, to find the "sweet" spot then screwed the box down. Made a video that's on my channel. The biggest challenge was setting/ rigging the dancers so when the music ended, they were facing straight and forward, looking at the front of the clock. Great video!
