There's actually a way you can tell when the noodles are coming! If you look carefully there's like a small burst of water about half a second before the noodles come out. Gives you time to prepare.
@ThisismineIguess

Also note that before it happens, the noodles block some of the water - the flow lessens before the brief burst.

I legit thought they were going to pick the noodles out of the river😂Honestly, that would've been far more interesting. The noodles would have a VERY interesting taste, being that it mixes with the bacteria and flora of the atmosphere. So now you literally FEEL the environment inside of you, and not just around you. It literally becomes a 4-dimensional kind of experience. But then again, the sanitation issue becomes the obstacle to that.

This is honestly a genius way of saving food. Everything that's sent down seems to be well portioned for only one bite. Grab, eat, and repeat until satisfied. The fact there is a good amount of time between each serving allows the body to adjust to what's already been consumed. Eat until you're satisfied, not until you're full.

It explains it right in the video. The water comes from 3 tubes for each table. Each table seats 3 people. Each tube is for 3 people. Fresh water comes from the top of each tube. Every table has their own water flowing through it. All of these measures prevent cross contamination. It’s pretty much your fault if you forget which tube is yours. Every table has its own set of water tubes. It isn’t shared between all the tables. There’s zero chance of cross contamination unless you go out of your way to share a water tube with someone else at the same table as you.

I really like watching your videos, they are really interesting and therapeutic to me because of the calm demonstrations and detail descriptions. I have some doubts regarding the noodle distribution system: 1. What happens to the noodles that are being collected at the end of the line? 2. I also noted that when the noodles were being caught, not the whole quantity was being catched, so what happens to the amount of noodles that flows off? Are they reused or are they disposed off?? Looking forward to receiving your response!! 💙💙💙

This looks super cool and so peaceful. Reminds me of Korean Naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles). Is this a similar type of noodle or is it Somen? What do they do with the uncaught noodles -- seems like a waste of food if you miss?

I wonder how many noodles does each person get? Might be great for extrovert or outdoor eaters... But yeah, glad you filmed it, been curious about how somen works...
