Thank you for such an informative, understandable, and technically enlightening video. This video introduced me to your whole library of excellent videos. You are now one of favorite U-Tube publishers. I am amazed at how much you remind me of one of my other favorites, Jeremy Fielding. You even sound like him! Being able to access the videos from both you and Jeremy is an absolute treasure for any DIYer.

I never was aware that the water from the bowl could be sent down the drain on each flush and more water was used than needed. I am making the further adjustments you discussed and should see more efficiency of water use. Good detail. Also, I have experienced more blockages and the center flush adjustment was also not clearly noted in the original installation paperwork. Great job of helping me do a better job.

...and, how exactly do you make the adjustments for the new flapper setup. There's the green slider and blue slider. Mine didn't come with instructions, so I'm just asking around. Thanks again for putting up such a great video!!!

Fantastic review! Question: For the piece that connects to the push button unit, what determines which color to connect it to? Does that make sense? Mine has both green and a blue...and the insides of each look quite a bit different between the two.

Thank you for the excellent review! A couple of questions: 1) should the trigger be connected to the green socket instead of blue (since you have a green tube)? 2) I installed mine today and both, low and full triggers tend to drain the entire tank. Not sure if I installed it wrong or it's a configuration issue (the low trigger sometimes does empty only a little bit, but most of the times it will empty the entire tank). I have the lever style trigger in case that matters.

Easy to install. On my toilets, I put one in all 4 bathrooms. Here's a tip set the float higher it works best for the number one flush. I set it to where it can be adjusted and put the lid on and let it slide down to self-set height. If it's too low the save flush didn't work on my toilets. Also if your toilet is old go ahead and replace all the internal parts especially if you see rust on the bolts and the flapper looks like soft gum. To install the parts, the overflow tube broke in every single bathroom just trying to zip tie the part on.

I presume this converts an older style regular volume toilet to be able to save water. It doesn't convert a low water use toilet to use more water to flush solids better.

I have 3 in my home. Not a fan of the push button style. Too hard to push. I would suggest the handle style. Pretty sure the actuators (button/handle) aren't interchangeable. Great product. Pay attention to the tube valve as shown to set correctly. No other fill valve has this feature that I'm aware of. The beefier zip tie is a good idea but they come with an extra in the package so you could just double up.

May have misspoken about interchangability of handles. Older models weren't but newer ones I think are.

I have the same toilet setup. I’m having issues after 6+ years. It was installed when I bought my condo. The issue I’m having is that the toilet runs periodically. The water over fills the tank and it over flowers the center tube. Does it have to be replaced or can I just adjust the water? I really don’t want to call out a plumber.

How was the durability on this kit? I've had some in the past that didn't last, thank you!

was about to buy this for my toilet but after seeing nothing but bad previews on line that i decided not to buy this item where i went with the Fluidmaster Water Saving Refill Tube instead since i dont waste a gallon of water in the bowl with that on every flush

I hate this thing. I have an older toilet made in the 70's. I can not make the low flush flush every single time. For LOW flush pushes. First push, it puts too little water in bowl, so it does not flush, that fills the boal up with a lot of water. Second push, it does flush leaving a very small amount of water in the bowl, so on a third push it can not flush. AND, the big one, their crazy center blue rubber seal does not reliably seal their combo valve, so water can constantly dribble out the tank into the bowl. No mater how hard I pushed and forced the black ring down, it did not help. What seems to have helped for today when I installed it today, coat a layer of RectorSeal T Plus 2 on both parts and force fit tight together. But without the low flush working, this is a waste of my money and time.

This thing sucks. Stopped working after one week. You have to hold down the handle now. Adjusting the water flow is a pain, and now no matter how you adjust it, the stopper drops after only 3 seconds. Waste of money.

The US Flappers are shit, i come from Germany and the 5 or so Toilets i had back then had no "Flappers" like here in US ... the house i am now here only has trouble with them, they leak, not close correctly sometimes(because the hinges they have don't force the angle they close, so they can move sideways and thus not cover the hole good) and thats only part of the trouble.
