Even if that was true that doesn't change the fact that it happened nor that it's fairly consistent with Knull's lore. Knull is tiers above celestials, who themselves tend to be tiers above skyfathers, who tend to be tiers above characters like Thanos. Sentry most of the time typically is comparable to people like non-skyfather Thor or world war hulk. We'd have to exclusively use Sentry's highest ended feats (many of which are considered massive outliers) just to get him anywhere near Knull.

You forgot to mention Thanos’ intelligence and his resilience. Sure Knull has more power at his disposal than Base Thanos but if these 2 were to fight Thanos would probably figure out a way to take Knulls power and use it against him. Or he could use some other amp. Thanos as used the infinity gems, the cosmic cube, the heart of the universe, the astral regulator to increse his power infinitely. Thanos has achieved nigh-omnipotence more times then any character in marvel history. So yeah while in a straight up fight Knull and All-Black will probably take down the mad titan I think in character how Thanos has been written in his history I’d bet my bottom dollar he could and will find a way to take down Knull

Its best to do “base/average version vs base/average version” because that allows us to make a determination based on the different ways a character has been written. This all depends on if thanos has all 6 infinity stones, if he does, Thanos wins due to essentially becoming god of his realm. even then, it would be very close. If not, knull easy claps no difficulty. Thanos victory will entirely depend on if Knull gets snapped if he has 6 infinity stones. If he doesn't, Knull wins. If he does, Thanos wins by technicality
