Bro, when Thing beat Namor underwater, that was a fluke. It's never happened again. I'm not disrespecting Thing, but Namor's done things that Benn Grimm had never done. Outta all the fights he's had w/the Hulk, he's never one-shotted the Hulk, Name has. In fact, in the history of Marvel Comics, there's only been 3 guys to one-shot the Hulk, & The Thing isn't one of them. To be fair, Ben Grim has been getting underrated for YEARS. Thing is one of the few people who hasn't been subject to the disgusting power creep in comics in general. That said, Ben's best feats are also often older or not even known about and with his dip in popularity, he's being forever underrated. Thing in this though REALLY should be a lot higher. Like Tony stronger than Ben? Naw... the disrespect. Hulk, Juggernaut, Thor, Hercules, Hyperion, Gladiator, Blue Marvel, Sentry, all of those and some more situations in their own top tier. Pretty much everyone is below this. Namor, Thing, She-Hulk, Wonder Man, Colossus, etc are all the the tier below. Sure, there are shifts here and there (Ben somehow being left behind when a lot of the older heroes crept up a tier in strength for example) but fir the most part, those are the top 2 tiers. Ben used ro be in the top, he got left behind somehow but realistically, should be roughly the same tier as Hulk and such but we just don't see him that much anymore.

Thor and Hercules both have moved effectively limitless/infinite weights worh just their strength so trying to claim one way or the other that Herc is stronger than Thor is pretty much impossible to prove. Moreover, being more popular, Thor has more and better feats than Herc overall. Herc hiding the infinite cosmos for Atlas or him managing to out-skill Thor is raw hand to hand combat are usually the 2 main feats people use ro justify Herc being stronger but that's almost all the arguments they have - both of which are easily debunkable. Sure there's plenty of *characters* in comics that are stronger than Thor or Hercules or anyone I mentioned. All the cosmic beings and Skyfathers and team-buster villains and so on. However, I'm specifically referring to *heroes* and there are very few heroes who are even in the same power group as Thor. He IS the top tier. Not the absolute top of his group (I'd argue Sentry takes that spot and likely deserves his own tier) but, very high up there.

The Thing also mixes in his superior combat fighting experience with his super strength during most of his fights when written and drawn correctly. In the classic Marvel stories, the Thing has stalemated Wonder Man although Simon Williams is in fact stronger than Ben Grimm. The Thing was eventually going to defeat Sasquatch despite Grimm lacking a huge size advantage. The Thing actually broke the ribs of the Champion (a cosmic entity) during their classic fight. When the Thing was written correctly, he had amazing stories. I think it started in the early 1990's when the Thing became a jobber compared to other super strong heroes and villains.

@@nesq4104 I think in one of those stories, Zeus stripped Hercules of half his strength when the Hulk nearly killed him. One other fight, Hercules allowed the Hulk to beat him. During one Avengers story, it was mentioned that Hercules was the strongest Avenger to ever assemble within their own ranks. From reading the alternate future Hercules, only a being such as Galactus was able to humble Hercules. Other than that, Hercules can summon as much raw strength as he wants to defeat most super powered beings at his peer level. In addition, Hercules although arrogant is a benevolent character, the last thing he usually wants to do is be reckless against any of his opponents. As Hercules often states, he challenges his opponents to find out if they're worthy of the gift of battle. And he often does that for entertainment. But Hercules has pulled off amazing feats when he goes all out.

Marvel did a rating 10 point rating scale for several stats. The max on strength was the super heavyweight and had a 10, then came the regular heavy weights at 9, lower heavyweights at 8, super medium weight, regular medium weight a lower medium weights at 7 6 and 5, then 4 3 & 2 were feather weights and 1 was peak human. She hulk was not a 10, she was an 8, spider man was a 7. Groot was a 10, captain marvel was a 6 until she got the second form then she was 10. Been grim was a 7 I believe. Just saying.

In terms of strength it’ll be close because Hulk and Thor have practically equal strength in terms of power Thor. Thor gets more powerful the more he ages and he becomes the most powerful skyfather eventually gaining the Odin Force which is so powerful that he even gained the Phoenix force because he defeated Wolverine when Wolverine had the Phoenix Force and Thor became the powerful herald of Galactus gaining the power cosmic. Hulk has to do tons and I mean tons of ANGERRR to try to reach that one below all Hulk level. Also even then Hulk strength increases with the amount of angry he is Thor already has his god strength from the get go and also the fact that Thor has god weapons like Mjölnir, the god blast, and Warrior’s Madness which makes Thor basically fuse with lightning to ultimate power because how angry he gets, so anger also powers him.

Sentry would be #1 while Hyperion would be #2. Stan Lee purposely kept his characters less powerful when compared with DC's overpowered characters because he wanted his characters to be more realistic and believable, hence they live in real cities, not mythical cities or places like Gotham or Metropolis. That said, later one, Marvel began copying Superman with such characters as Hyperion (nearly an exact copy of Superman) and then Sentry is given so many powers above even Hyperion.

The void sentry would be very close and when blue marvel goes ape then hulk getting mad that they are all trying to prove there the strongest there is crazy. I think there is a 4 way tie in Strength between Juggernaut Hulk Thor and Hercules. These 4 characters have all been matched up against each other with each of them pretty much consistently showing equality of Strength. There are intermittent exhibitions of pronounced Strength advantages of one variation of these characters over another, but ultimately it's a 4 way tie in my opinion. They are all the most iconic characters associated with Strength that are are framed as Strength incarnate the most consistently.
