In the games, artists can effect the world through art. Much more powerfully when near cauldron lake. Alan had been lost in a dark place trying to write a story that would get him home. This song was played on the beach as they were trying to bring Alan back into this world.

I love this band, both Old Gods Of Asgard and Poets Of The Fall. My favourite Old Gods songs are Balance Slays The Demon, and The Poet And The Muse. I recommend you check either of those out next time you do an Old Gods reaction Dane. This is another band I need to see live. Nice reaction dane... 🤘🤘

Awesome, thank you! I really enjoyed this! There are so many great bands from Finland that I am just not aware of since I don't live there any more. I have played the first Alan Wake game, but have no memory of any soundtrack. Probably because I did not play terribly far - I just get stuck and cannot get past certain things, and end up giving up. And I do not want to bug hubby to help me out! But like I said, thank you! And I will have to check out Poets of the Fall!

As someone who has listened to their music and seen them live from the very beginning of their career, I'm always thrilled to see people react and discover them for themselves and then dive into that deep and exciting rabbit hole that is Poets of the Fall. Put those seatbelts on and let's go, I look forward to seeing more videos of you exploring both Old Gods and Poets. Have you gotten to the Ashtray Maze in Control yet, because that is accompanied by "Take Control", another great metal song by this band, and there's another room downstairs somewhere with huge speakers that has Dark Disquiet" by Poets. I really like their latest album and of cause the Alexander Theater acoustic session is great. It was the treat band did during the time there was no live concerts. And of cause Cradled in Love from Moscow concert 10 years ago... All POTF songs are good 😊

Getting to know Poets of the Fall will be like opening a treasure box for you so I hope you'll enjoy it! I started listening to them when Late Goodbye was released and the band and their music have just kept evolving in so many different directions - it's hard to understand how a band can be so versatile. Hey time to react to Poets of the Fall? ⏳ There's now circling a rumor, that they might be participating in February in the Finnish music contest, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu aka UMK. It's the same competition where Käärijä and Windows95man were. 🥳 The winner is chosen for the Eurovision song contest! Whether it's true or not, It'll be revealed in January. The most viewed video from the Poets is probably the beautiful Carnival of Rust. The video in itself is worth watching. 💔 Lyrics are captivating and Marko's voice is superb. A live version from e.g. Moscow is a little different, but as good in comparison.

Ugh, this one. Those dark monsters kept killing me during the concert squence and I probably had heard the tune about 20 times before I finally killed them all and moved past that scene. Very difficult battle rages in the game during that song!
