right, I pretty much stopped paddling about 18 years ago and the sport has come such a long ways in terms of skill level and boat design for the big water. These guys are paddling solid class 5 and calling it a "joy lap". I mean Dane Obviously is the Goat, but he never has any trouble finding lots of solid paddlers for this crazy stuff. Doing laps on the Stikine really blew me away.

@@petrhermanadventures9509 Back in the 80s we were paddling 13 foot boats and trying to punch through holes with limited success. Also the sport was primarily made up of sierra club type people not the true adventure athletes the sport has now.

Love Danos edits, top drawer! Im going to add my 2 cents. Could we see your run other than your P.O.V? I know that you would need an additional filmer for that. Also ,maybe an interactive piece where you film the rapid and ask your viewers is they can spot your line. Maybe pointing it out with your finger ,or a piece of perspex where you can hold it up against the rapid backdrop and use a erasable marker pen to draw out the line? Just an idea
