I wasn't the first clear, but I did finish the first level! The key is 108 blocks from the start, or 59 blocks counting backwards from the end. The quickest way to find it is to count the windows in the background. Going from the start of the level, it's in the first block beneath the 15th window. There's an hour of my life I'll never get back.

For the first level you shouldve been counting by twos and hitting two blocks at the same time to make counting faster. Also you shouldve checked for hidden blocks.

Hopefully he goes back to it, even if by then it has been cleared, would be interesting to see what it was like. I found the key in the first level and I beat it. Also left a comment on which block the key was. It was in the 59th block counting from the back. I started from the back because I figured the key would be closer to the back than the front.

Not sure about the sprite limit, but you can make that first level infinitely worse by copying that whole thing and making it five times with them leading to one another, so you have to get all 5 random keys to get to the end.

Why stop at 5? You can have 8 locked doors, so you can have 8 hidden keys! While you're at it, why not also have one of the required 8 keys fall down inside an invisible block off a track somewhere in the level? So you have to hit it at the exact right moment without seeing it, or else it's gone forever :D
