Here in Iowa with 25” of snow on the ground, this is my short game adjustment: buy golfball sized nerf balls, place a rubber backed rug on the floor in the garage, watch Dan’s videos then go to garage to practice Dan’s instruction. My chipping and pitching has improved significantly over the last month. It really is awesome to be able to watch a video and step out into the garage and try it. Thanks Dan.

Dan, I’m a former D-1 golfer and still play to a +3 in my 30s. I’ve been an exceptional ball striker and an average short game player, albeit a pretty good putter. I have read your book and taken your ideas to my practice chipping green. You are a most talented instructor and I eagerly watch all of your posts. I’ll research your site to seek opportunities to meet you. Thanks for sharing your ideas with all of us!

I have to say, you are the best presenter/Coach online without doubt. Many presenters waffle a bit too much but, your explaination on each shot is not only to the point but you also give an excellent visual of the shot required. I can say that in my back garden, I'm making fewer errors with my wedges but the problem is, I have to use the other clubs as well. 😅🤣👋👋👋

63 yrs young and have been a plus or low handicap since my teens. Historically was considered an excellent chipper and pitcher of the golf ball. Was pretty creative and rarely struggled with low points or ball first contact. Assorted things took me from the game for a while and have been back at it for 7-8 years and my wedge/short game has been horrendous nearly to the point that I won’t practice it so I don’t get depressed. In spots that I used to regularly chip in I now put so I’m not chunking or blading them and completely ruining a decent round. I’ve watched a few short game guys and you’ve really impressed me. As simple as it looks for me doing it on the course has been a struggle. I know practice makes perfect but probably need a lobotomy to get rid of all the negatives thoughts and images.

Yesterdays round was awesome, although I missed a good amount of putts (very fast greens), my chip and pitch was as succesful as I have never had in my game, thanks to your tutorial. I reinstate that what you share is truly admirable. I found myself performing with so much more confidence and present to club selection and what I wanted my ball to do. If I would have putted better, let´s put it this way, sinking at least 50% of my birdie and par opportunities I would have ended with high seventies instead of a round of 83. I am a visual person so I learn by seeing, rather than by reading, like it was mentioned in your interview.

Wow! I did watch your 3 releases with Rick Shields a couple of months ago and have been practicing this with some success. When i am not successful it is often because the lie wasn't appropriate, so thanks to the video. There is a golf course that I frequent which has harder bunkers, not unlike the one here, if not harder wetter bunkers, even in summer. I have been avoiding the bunkers because of poor conditions in them. But now I see a solution - which I will practice. I do plan on picking up a copy of your book on the three releases sometime soon. Thank you again Dan. Craig from Toronto Canada.

His winter conditions are my year round conditions! haha. this is the video I needed, thank you!! very useful. makes sense why certain releases weren't working for me in certain lies.
