Étonnant cette profusion de Hits Puissants que l'année 1985 a générée chez nos artistes Français. Je m'en rends compte encore plus maintenant depuis que Dereck commente. Daniel Balavoine faisait bien sûr parti de cette richesse que nous n'avons plus. A croire qu'une guerre mondiale est survenue au début des années 2000 pour assister à l'effondrement de la musique. Je suis de la génération qui a connu une époque bénie des dieux à tout de point de vue et là je ne vous compte pas les tubes européens mais aussi américains qui comptaient les plus grands génies du 20eme siècle. Vous me citez par exemple la chanteuse La Zarra qui a une très belle voix et qui nous a mis une honte internationale avec son "doigt" à l'eurovision ! La vulgarité, la médiocrité et la mocheté n'existaient pas (Aurait - on vu Marie Myriam avec un tel comportement ?). Pour le peu que j'écoute il n'y a pas de rythme, par de melodie qui s'entend une 1ère fois et vous prends aux tripes. C'est d'une platitude et ennui mortels. Je prends même l'exemple de la Star Academy ou il y a 20 ans il y en avait quelqu'uns qui sortaient du lot et là tu regardes la version 2023 t'as envie de te pendre, en plus d'être moches et gros pour certains !

Hi Dereck, Daniel was a great singer, he died in Africa in a crash during Paris-Dakar rallye. I love him, he had a perfect voice, and he's an engaged person, in Africa, he fights racism, etc. He was a Peter Gabriel'fan and just before his death he would begin a career in England...

Thanks bro, really thank you. Daniel passed away really to early. It's still my fav French singer all of time. Imagine this guy has never taken musics lecons, and playing guitar 6 and 12 strings, playing piano, composing on Fairlight CMI 3, wrote himself lyrics, composed all music alone (with these friends like Joe Hammer). This guy is the first guy in France to had create a midi syncro for these rythms boxes. This guy was just a fucking music genius. Before die tragicaly, he wanted make some work with Peter Gabriel and more. It's just crazy. He passed away in 1986 i was 6 years old. Today i'm 37 years old and i still crying sometimes when I think about him or when I listen him...

hi dereck. the week ends well. you almost had tears, I shed a small one. this clip was shot after the death of daniel balavoine. his sister also said that he would never have shot it that way because it was an optimist. I recently learned that he was planning to make an upcoming album in English only. and also the programmer of RTL (great French radio reported that shortly after going to Paris Dakar (where he died) he told her I don't know how to do better than this album. other comment (it is on the moment)

Vraiment cette vidéo est vraiment géniale . Car en tant que français on connais bien Daniel Balavoine mais pour les personnes vivant dans d'autres pays qui ne le connaissent pas , je trouve intéressant de voir la réaction avec du recul du talent qu'il avait. Souvent on a cette culture de penser que les anglais et américains sont meilleurs que nous dans le domaine de la musique. Mais là on réalise que nous avons un vrai chef d'œuvre aux yeux des personnes qui le connaisse pas de base. La chanson française a vraiment pas à rougir dautres chansons je trouve. En tout cas Balavoine était un dieu ^^

This song came out two months after his death. For the record, Daniel Balavoine died in an helicopter crash during the Paris-Dakar. He was on an humanitarian mission for "Paris du cœur", where they installed water pumps in African villages. Still today, Daniel Balavoine remains one of the greatest singer in France. Very powerful songs: Balavoine: "Femme veuve qui s'éveille" (very synthy deep and experimental.(💖.) "Dieu que c'est beau" Super catchy.

You should listen "sos d'un terrien en détresse" by balavoine, and, by grégory lemarchal ! Both of them are angels now ! By the way, you have to listen "le lien" grégory lemarchal... He has an angel's voice
