Thanks bro, really thank you. Daniel passed away really to early. It's still my fav French singer all of time. Imagine this guy has never taken musics lecons, and playing guitar 6 and 12 strings, playing piano, composing on Fairlight CMI 3, wrote himself lyrics, composed all music alone (with these friends like Joe Hammer). This guy is the first guy in France to had create a midi syncro for these rythms boxes. This guy was just a fucking music genius. Before die tragicaly, he wanted make some work with Peter Gabriel and more. It's just crazy. He passed away in 1986 i was 6 years old. Today i'm 37 years old and i still crying sometimes when I think about him or when I listen him...

Reacting to PETIT HOMME MORT AU COMBAT and UN ENFANT ASSIS ATTEND LA PLUIE from the same fabulous album would be fantastic follow-ups to TOUS LES CRIS LES SOS, L'AZIZA and SAUVER L'AMOUR.

Note he's the genuine singer of "starmania" back in 70's. Opera rock originally by Michel Berger, also French.

The singer disappears three months after the release of the album, during a helicopter crash on the Paris-Dakar route. Many music professionals recognize in this album the best of Daniel Balavoine, and in the first place Daniel himself. The singer would have said to Monique Le Marcis, director of programming of RTL: "I like this album so much that I would like it to be the last"...
