The scene where he kills the guy is especially funny to me because of an inside joke i make everytime i see Daniel Craig, and it started in this movie. the very first time i saw Daniel Craig in other movie that's not in the 007 franchise was this one, and i remember saying:- "holy shit! It's Daniel Craig! He is gonna kill someone." My sister immediate replied:- "That's ridiculous, he's a priest".*proceeds to drown and bludgeon the other guy to death*.Even I was astonished for a few seconds, then we proceeded to rofl xD

The interesting point is: Craig played a Jesuit, which essentially were the vaticans' assassins and infilltrators throughout history. "The popes' ninjas", if you like. If one looks at the killing scene closely (much to the actors credit) one notices a momentary smirk on his face, almost as if he enjoyed the killing or at least is proud of having done his job well. A rather eerie moment. Craig also brought this into his interpretation of James Bond, who - if you look at the character realistically (and in part how Fleming portrayed him in the early books), would essentially be a psychopath. Pretty sure that the first kill in "Casino Royal" was a bit of an inside joke on that, knocking and drowing the opponent in a bathroom sink.

My observation reveals interesting similarities- In this movie, Craig kills Thomas almost the same way that he killed his 1st. victim in 'Casino Royal'. He killed both if them as soon as he saw both of them. In both killings, water was involved. First, at the beach. Then, under a sink faucet in a men's public restroom. Also, both victims were secret enemy contact agents, and quite possibly spies. I wonder if anyone else thought of all of this.

Damn, so this was Daniel Craig !! Lmao. I always thought " I've seen this dude somewhere in another Hollywood movie. What's that? What's that?" and couldn't remember which. James Bond looked nothing like James Bond when he was younger. Ageing did him more benefits than his youth. 😂😂
