It’s possible if you increase the db on songs, I’ve managed to do it through GarageBand app for custom tones

@@elliottjones1991 I’m referring to customs text tones, that have been already made. And it’s Not only those, but the silly factory text tones are lowered in volume as well. There has been no way around this since one of the iOS 17 updates, & I’m not the only one dealing with/this, it’s all over the web/forums etc, there is still no solution, it’s been in apple engineering dept under study etc

ty samsung that u exist lo so basically u told me that when you volume ringer i also did volume to both at same time notifications n alarm but i want to volume notifications only but alarm stays loud as i want it like that, is there other solution i didnt find?

Just had my first iphone, I can barely hear notification when someone calls me or texts me, notificaitons are so quiet.... I prefer the way how android handles it, u can adjust notification sounds, same as system sounds or media, on iphone well rip, Not gonna lie probobly going back to android as Im not a fan checking my phone every 5 secs if someone will want to text me or call me and thats why I need loud notificaton so I know when I should check out my phone

My buttons don’t change my ringer volume. Only the media. This comes after 17.6.1 update

It doesn’t work. The ringtone is extremely loud while the text tone is very quiet. I want to hear my text tone so now I have my custom Nevermore - Death of Passion ringtone rocking the entire grocery store while my hands are full.

This low volume notification started from iOS 14. Now we have iOS 18 and nothing has changed.

They changed the low notification sound from iOS 14. I have been contacting Apple since then on every OS update.

Biggest pain in the neck!! Had to look up how to make notifications louder even though I switch the sound on the side of the phone from silent to not silent but THATS NOT ENOUGH!!! Cause you still have to go into the stupid phone settings just to make notifications louder!! Why can't the switch on the side control all that!!!

So basically Apple reduced all the file volumes lower themselves. So everything got screwed up. You can't hear notifications AT ALL. Even at maximum. What is wrong with this company.

Why does Apple have to be so annoying. Even after the updates on android all your settings, stay the same unless you changed it. It was so much easier on android, where every single app could have a customize alert tone. This will make me go back. By the way, thank you for the tutorial.
