Golfer left shocked at how easy this New Pitching Technique made his 30 - 80 yard golf shots.
If you struggle with chip shots and pitch shots around the green it's because you have a chipping and pitching technique that is either too complicated or your trying to use the same technique for all shots.
In this video Danny Maude explained to the student the difference between chipping and pitching and shows you exactly what technique to use and when.
Here's what you are going to learn
1. How you set-up to chipping and pitching is crucial for consistent strikes.
2. Really understand the bounce and exactly how to use it.
3. Use a chipping technique for chipping but a pitching technique for pitching
So if you are looking at improving your confidence with chip shots around the green watch the latest video from Danny Maude right here 👇 • What Nobody Tells You ...

ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On KZbin and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing

Another above-average lesson post, Danny. I find it useful how you employ students (if that indeed is what Leo is) in your instructional posts. We all know you replicate a drill with absolute perfection. But it helps to have a higher handicap golfer struggle with your suggested drills and how you help him/her address their difficulties. Nice job!

I cannot thank you enough for this. I have struggled with my chipping and pitching all of my life. I turned 64 this year and have played off and on for 40 years. I started practicing this way after watching the video. I beat my lowest score ever 3 shots. Shot 76 and it was all pitching and putting. I have more confidence now than I ever thought I would when I get inside 80 yards.

This is without a doubt the best pitching technique video I have ever seen. I have been very frustrated after working hard on my game that many rounds were completely ruined by a couple pitching shanks from 40-50-60 yards. Nothing good happens when you hit the ball dead right striking the ball with the hosel. But I tried to work on these pitch shots for weeks and couldn’t figure out why these shanks would pop up at the worst time on the golf course. And they would also happen repeatedly sometimes in practice sessions. I almost took a long break from playing golf because of shanking my pitch shots. But I persevered by hitting low 8 iron punch shots to avoid the dreaded shanked pitch shot but they were very inconsistent and at times impossible to hit high shots over water, etc. This video makes it so simple to copy Danny’s technique and adapt it to your own swing. I have seen a dramatic improvement and consistency in my pitching and my confidence has been restored. Very soon those negative shanked swing thoughts have disappeared from my mind. I have gone back to this video to refresh my memory many, many times when I have had a long layoff for a few weeks from golf and it keeps me on track to stay more consistent with my pitching and my scores have come down as well. I went to an in person lesson at $225 an hour here in NJ and this golf coach wasn’t able to help me and the shanks kept coming back. Thanks Danny for an extremely helpful video that really worked for me. As we all know, we should be working more on our short game to reduce our handicaps.

Brilliant. An earlier version of this totally fixed my shorter game (now my biggest strength). There was a comment late in there about it feeling "a bit out of control": EXACTLY how I know I've done it right. By that I mean: not trying to strangle the grip and almost feeling like the swing is a free falling pendulum. Feels VERY odd but results in a beautiful shot😂. Thanks once again 👍

I was the same as you Simon, I kept on jack knifing or fatting my chips that required some delicacy with them, and I watched Danny's video. All I did was basically get the heel of the wedge essentially off the ground as per his video and it totally changed my game! My short game went from rolling the dice, to me now not minding being short of a green by about 30 yards!

This has to be the greatest pitching lesson I have ever seen. The reason it resonates so well for me is that I am a 16 handicap that has good rounds ruined by a shanked pitch shot. Some rounds I have 2 shanked pitches in a round which totally ruins your score because the ball typically goes in a trap or worse and ends up a triple bogey each time. I have had golf coaches help me with on-site lessons but nobody has been able to eliminate the problem which has been very frustrating. I think this lesson will help me eliminate this disastrous shot in the future. I will start working on it now and will keep my body and legs involved in the swing with an arch to the left.

@@DanielMaude Danny I was wondering why putting a golf tee next to the ball as you instructed helps eliminate the shanked pitch shot? That is a unique solution that I had never heard before. All other golf coaches suggested standing up straighter, putting all the weight on your heels, twisting the club more open on the backswing, staying in posture, at address exaggerate and put club hosel on far side of the ball, etc.

Leo, You were awesome to watch on this! You have some talent and I hope you continue to love the game and pursue improvement. I think you could pick up these concepts very easily. Thanks for sharing and not being afraid of hitting bad shots. You should consider documenting your own progress on your own channel, you got a good personality for content yourself!

Clear simple instruction Danny .Will put this into use today . I changed from using a pitch putter for all of my chip shots recently and have struggled with the 48,54 and 60 degree so this was a great lesson for me !

Very apt this one! Thursday at Oulton Hall I was awful. Couldn't do right for doing wrong, so watching this is like a re-set. It got to the point where I was ready to go home after the front nine but I kept going after a drink break. Back 9 was slightly better but thankfully we ran out of light to end the agony. For some reason I was always going left when I felt I was aiming right and the if I swung steady it was short or fat and if I went a bit faster it was thinned way too long. This should help 😂😂😂(it can't not tbh)

I watched Danny’s other video and boom. I stick my 60 from 30 yards almost every time. It’s amazingly simple and almost fool proof. Knowing I have a great chance for an up and down takes pressure off of the other shots so the entire game is better.

Always love a short game video from you Danny, it's second to none! Not sure whether you take video requests but was curious to see if you have any tips from 80-100 yard chips at all? I often find myself losing accuracy (missing the green) when it needs to be a full power shot! Thank you as always for the amazing content!! :)

Great lesson. Something I noticed early in the video was him getting stuck on his back foot which restricted his hip rotation and was a root cause of the pushes to the right. That changed for the better at the 9:00 mark when Danny illustrated and mentioned the need to keep the body turning to the target. After that the student started lifting and turning the back foot allowing the hips, shoulders and hands to all move together with the butt end of the club continuing to point back at the body as the body turns and club head swings back inside. 👍

Excellent Job Danny in teaching your student Leo an easy pitching technique. On occasion, I do have trouble with this short pitch shot to the green. As you illustrated to Leo, it is a mini-swing on an arc with a gravity assist on the club. My main problem with this shot is that I don't rotate through as you want Leo to do You definitely helped me out with a problematic situation Danny!. Keep up the good work!
