This has been fantastic Daniel! I almost feel (and I am not trying to push this) like you could make some kind of series out of videos like this one. Either sort of a mythbuster or myth-tackler type video series OR a watch out for these red flags (like the key issue in todays video) kind of series. You are always such an invaluable source of knowledge and in relation to today's video I absolutely agree with you. Tattooing to me at least seems to have just as much precision or hand-eye coordination when compared to something like suturing flesh, or, even something out of left field as clean soldering! Thank you for this video Daniel and thank you for inspiring me every day to take the next step in my tattoo journey. Today I am testing out four cartridges against one another to see how they preform compared to the other. You are the inspiration for something like that! Blessings to you and your family brother! You are appreciated Daniel!

hmmm i’ve been tattooing for about a year now and I have a mast archer 3.5 stroke, and have been having a lot of struggle with packing ink. Do you think it would be worth investing in a higher stroke machine?
@xxpeerpressurexx5 ай бұрын
I have the same thing. I've come to realize not only is the stroke not great for lining but the power of the motor just isn't strong unless you want to turn it up to 10V which nobody wants to do. Oddly when I ignored the rules like hanging the throw out farther that the stroke length and shading a tattoo at 10V the result were great. They also Healed great. But I was uncomfortable the entire time. When I respect the rules like keeping my throw short, tattooing at 7-8 V, and being careful with my needle depth, most times the entire experience was troubled with ink pooling, having to go over an area 3-4 times, and not the best healing.

I'm new at tattooing. Learned everything here and with tattoo101 and i'm getting better. The only thing is always having to draw over an image to get my stencil. I find it hard for more technical images. I am kinda scared to buy a cheap stencil printer on amazon and i'm kinda tired of spending money it's been expensive buying everything. What do you recommend for stencils printing?

Vevor stencil printer is what I use. It connects to your phone or laptop using Bluetooth and stencils directly to the paper. And don’t be concerned about how much your spending you gone spend more than that once you become real cold I haven’t stopped spending yet, ts take a lot of money but it’s worth it

There’s a brand called Phomemo that’s ment for printing stickers but I use it to still print out tattoo stencils and it has a app so you can print out whatever and I believe it cost me 40 dollars

If you're only using the stencils for fake skin I recommend the good ol speed stick deodorant way to transfer the image lol. Would NOT recommend on skin tho

I'm having a strange issue, im tattooing a couple friends and my own arm and doing lining just fine at 7.5v on my Mast Archer 5 Star Edition wireless pen using 10-07RLT cartridges and 1211RL and I've tried shaders. My needle cartridges are Big Wasp and CNC Police Cartridges. The lines abd pscking a 4-7mm area is jot hard in my skin or my friends but my wifes skin just doesn't take it, i wipe with green soap ink wipes (wipe outs) and the ink isn't in it. I'm using Dynamic Black and Allegory black. Both vegan high end hypoallergenic Ink brands. Any tips, i think ky machine is 3.5mm but has adjustable needle depth and im going the same depth, around 1.5-2mm depth where I don't get blowout. Takes forever to get ink in my window frs stomach/side tattoo Any Tips? Ive tried 45°Angle, 35°angle, small circles, pendulum strokes very tight together, even sude hy side lines overlapping going slow
