One thing that has made a huge difference in my healthy eating has been changing the morality language around food. In our house we say fuel food, snack food and treat food vs healthy or unhealthy or good or bad foods. It puts things into perspective and context.

This video really speaks to me and I feel happier, if you can believe it, after watching it. The whole diet and exercise industry has me feeling like an insane failure because nothing is working. THANK YOU for all of the help your giving! I ordered some LMNT to try b/c I've heard good things previously and I trust you. With that being said, I'm going to start implementing these 10 healthy habits into my life, starting with being more mindful when I eat instead of eating like someone is going to take my plate away.

Consider buying a Ninja CREAMi. You can make your protein shake, yogurt bowl, sorbet, cottage cheese "ice cream", etc, freeze it and then cream it to the texture of ice cream. So you could still have your "ice cream" and eat it too 😋 I just got one and can't wait to try it. My goal is to replace a sweet treat late at night with a high protein one. Dani, thank you for another great video! ❤ I hope 2025 is the year for great health goal success for all.

Thank you Dani! Missed you! I’m trying to lower my cholesterol naturally ( No Statins). I appreciate all your knowledge on fats. I’ve walked away from Mayo, now using Greek yogurt which I love. Completely gave up hard cheeses. Have a new love affair with low fat cottage cheese, especially in scrambled eggs. I have a “ get rid of this food” mindset. I also got into horseradish as a condiment. I am sad to see holidays go by but am looking forward to getting back on track. Been doing lots of research on the cellular aspects with respect to food. kind of scary😮. Do you have any Tofu recipes? Love all your input! (Sorry, too long:)

Dear Dani, I came across a video today that offered a refreshingly honest and realistic perspective. I would be grateful for your assistance. At 47, I'm finding weight loss challenging despite a healthy diet, and I also have a dairy intolerance. Could you please share any weight loss advice tailored for women my age with dairy intolerance? Thank you so much!
@CleanandDeliciousDaniКүн бұрын
The key to weight loss at any age is finding a way to eat in the caloric range that supports weight loss for your body while also feeling satiated and satisfied with your meals - so that you don't always feel hungry. While there is no magic formula - prioritizing protein, fiber, and healthy fats can really help with satiety. Try to focus on meals - and eliminate snacking. Hydration is also key! Are you doing any type of exercise right now? And lastly, notice your biggest obstacles. Do you ever eat emotionally? Snack late at night? Sweet tooth in the afternoon? Often, we try to fix our diets but overlook the habits that create the most significant obstacles! I hope that helps a bit. XO
@RannPattersonКүн бұрын
@@CleanandDeliciousDani “Often we try to fix our diets but overlook the habits that create the most significant obstacles.” That is such a profound statement, I made a screenshot of it. I should put up in neon lights 😆 it goes right along with the point you made, was it #10 “Mindfulness” self-talk/where we are mentally YES, do more on that topic. We all have to eat to survive, and I think having to FOCUS on that, is in and of itself a win, and can lead to other successes. I find it so easy to get distracted we have so much thrown at us from the internet, difficult to avoid. Thank you for the video, I wish your mom well, and great things for all of us in the new year 2025! 🎉God bless!

I missed your videos while you were gone and hope your mom is well. I read the ingredients on LMNT's website, and each of the flavored versions contains Stevie leaf extract, which I strongly dislike because it tastes like artificial sweetener to me. Are there other electrolyte options without Stevie or artificial sweeteners?
@CleanandDeliciousDani20 сағат бұрын
Thank you! I am sure there are electrolyte brands that don't have stevia, but I don't know them off the top of my head! I bet you can easily find one with a quick Google search.

I recently realised that after a lifetime of food and weight struggles, I think I have a problem with my satiety, which may be a hormonal issue. My plates can be super healthy and colorful, and i'l be hydrated etc, but I will not "feel" satiated, ie my brain (and sometimes my eyes) say "that's enough", but my body still has enough room for more. I know this cos having fallen pregnant (the ultimate hormonal rollercoaster), for the first time I've felt what it's like for my body to listen to my brain and say, "okay brain, I hear you, I'll stop". As a result, for the first time in my life, at 5 months pregnant, I'm the most comfy in my skin and actually not thinking about food, and now my weight is "falling off". 😮 My worry is that disconnection returning once I've given birth. What do I do? Is there a way to check my "satiety hormone"? Is there such a thing?
