Hi Dani! One tip to remember when pronouncing Filipino names/words is that the vowels have only one sound for each unlike in English where a vowel can have different sounds. For example, "a" is always pronounced as "ah" like the interjection "Ah!"; "e" is always pronounced as "eh" like in "bet", "get", "set"; "i" is more of a long E sound like "deep" or "leave"; "o" is like the o in "on" or "old"; and "u" is more like a long O as in "zoom" and "loom". I hope that helps 😊

Hi Dani. Loved this video. Such beautiful women. I loved the “fashion” swimsuit. It was fantastic. And I also really love the two different photo shoots you showed us. The current one with miss Philippines and miss Thailand (I hope I got that correct). Such creativity like you say. And then the older photo shoot that you thought had the same type of creativity. Hi Dani! Youre doing great with the pronunciation of most provinces in The Philippines. Reading filipino words is easy. For a starter, You just need to learn 5 vowel sounds and read each syllables with flat stress because it will sound more acceptable compared to puttings the stress in the wrong syllable. Works all the time. 😉

Hi Dani been following u since 2018.. Mostly the Philippines cities or Provinces are read in syllable. Like Cainta is read as Ka iin ta. BAGUIO is Bag yaw** Tanangga is correct.. CAMIGUIN second pronunciation is correct..Quezon is KeH Zon province.. TALISAY is Ta Lee sai.. I hope this helps.

Cainta is pronounced as "Kuh-eenta." (there's like a glottal stop between Ca and inta.) Kananga is pronounced as "Kana-nga (the ng sounds like nguh, like in Long) Camiguin is pronounced as "Ka-migin" (the stress is in -miguin part instead of Cami-, you'd say -miguin faster.) Talisay is pronounced as "Tuh-lee-suhy" Ngl, Kananga is a place I've never heard before, 😅til I learned they're some town in the Province of Leyte. I have no idea how they got a national license when most non-province girls represent "independent charter cities" like Manila, Makati, Pasig and Quezon City. It's weird seeing a small Leyte town when there's a Miss Leyte already. Also with Cainta, she should've represented the Province of Rizal where Cainta is located since there's no Miss Rizal representing. I think MUPH Organization should only give the franchise on a provincial/state level only (except with the case of charter cities not under a province like Manila, Makati, Quezon City, etc), it'd be more organized and we won't see random places like Kananga pop up once in a while.

You've been doing great pronouncing the provinces!! 🫶 Mariveles ✅ Cainta= ka-in-TA (read fast, and 'ta' is pronounced hard, not soft) Kananga ✅ but I think it's also read without articulating the "g", basically the 'ng' in long (quite unsure as well with this haha) Pampanga ✅ But I think you just have to prolong 'pang' just a little bit, then soften the 'ga' in the end. No need to read it fast too. Camiguin ✅ I think either is acceptable haha Quezon/ Quezon Province ✅ but prolong the "Que" just a little bit. Stress is not on 'zon'. Talisay = ta-LI-say These are just nitpicking, but you're already doing great! Just some assistance to help you pronounce them better 🫶 Keep the MUPh videos cominggg 🤩

Here's my advise on how to read Filipino language. Learn to read the VOWELS the Filipino way. I think it is the same for most languages like Spanish, Arabic etc A = ah (like American, Against, Around etc) E = E (like Eggs, Error etc) I = E! (like Eel, Ignore, Independent etc) O = O (like Obey, Over, Okay etc) U = O! (like Oomph, Oodles, Uber etc) Also, our language is syllabic. You read them by syllables. It is usually a 2-letter syllable unless the 3rd and 4th letters are both consonants. This is just my educated guess. Examples MAGANDA (beautiful - used for both person and object) MA-GAN-DA MABUTI (good or well) MA-BU-TI- MABAIT (Kind) MA-BA-IT MALAMBING (sweet - pertains to a person. We say MATAMIS for food) MA-LAM-BING KUMUSTA(How are you.. borrowed from Spanish "Como esta") KU-MUS-TA (respond by saying "Mabuti" meaning "Im good or Im well) We dont really say "I" or "I am" if we are saying it directly to a person NOW. Another example is "MAHAL KITA" literally translates to "LOVE YOU." Since it is being said "now and in the present," "I" is the person saying it.

Pro Tip: When pronouncing the cities and provinces, switch to your Spanish accent and stay away from your American accent. You do that, and you're 90% correct. 😅
