I think that's the idea with the second speakers one-foot stand (the small black craig). Hard to see in the video, but im pretty sure thats how they get anything resembling bass out of those shit cans. If you put it on a hollow metal box, it should in theory be louder because of the stand, but the sound from the metal box is going to be bad reverb and bass.

When i was about 12, i made the financial decision to buy a 3 pack of Craig-phones from a local dollar store. It came with basic earbuds, wrap around sport earbuds, and a pair of over ears. Actually found a floor standing speaker with the craig logo at goodwill and it actually sounds decent tbh not very amazing but has decent mid and bass just not that much top end sounds nice and boomy kinda fun tbh vety much worth the 20 bucks
