I actually think that 3:51 was the high point of this song. I think it's because that's not the recorded melody and I DEFINITELY wasn't expecting the high harmony. It was pure amazingness. Patrick just became more confident with his vocal abilities, I guess. And his talking voice probably just reached final maturity, because guys pretty much don't finish puberty until they're in their late 20's. Oh and not to mention that the weight loss made the singing on stage for him a lot easier because he also suffers from asthma, so you can imagine how hard it was for him to perform when he was heavier.

Tony Dupre I mean, he said himself that before he was really afraid of his voice and singing in general wasn't what he wanted to do so he'd impersonate other singers before. He says that now he's finally comfortable with his voice. And I mean, you could hear that on the records too. From TTYG to ABAP. His voice just became better and more distinctive. Probably because he stopped being afraid of it.

These are auto toned but its not a bad thing almost every single live performance now uses auto tune, Especially if its going to be televised. Also there are different degrees of auto tune. You can use it just too fix your pitch without it being noticeable. Not everyone using auto tune has to sound like lil wayne.
