Honestly Jazz finding out Danny's secret is always so great. Because she doesn't get mad at him for keeping secrets, doesn't expose him, doesn't force him to tell her. Just keeps her mouth shut and helps him out every now and then until he's ready to talk about it. There are so few characters that find out the hero's secret and don't IMMEDIATELY go off on them for 'lying' to them. I love Jazz for that.

Amber basically sings her origin story, her hair is constantly on fire and one line in the song is “nothing but ashes remain” girl lived a heartbroken life and probably died in an accident involving fire, Ghost Dog was implied to be euthanized, Box Ghosts death probably involved boxes it’s fun and morbid to think about

Spectra is easily Danny's most evil enemy. Even including late series Vlad... Spoiler Alert In Ultimate Enemy there's a scene where we see Danny's most iconic reoccurring villains after Dan destroyed their afterlives. You can honestly feel bad for some of them. But Spectra isn't in that scene and I honestly like to think Dan straight up ended her existence or worse. I would not feel bad for her at all.

its not something i thought about or noticed as a kid but i rewatched the show a few years back and was surprised how subtlety they implied that. Also DP has this thing where half the ghosts are dead people and the other half were born as ghosts. We just thought ghosts were its own species but looking back there are a lot of small hints on how some of the ghosts died.

As an older sibling myself, I always looked up to Jazz as an inspiration to be a good role model for my little sister. It's probably the best depiction of a late teenager trying to be there for the one who's going through the same-ish thing as they did, especially cause we went through it so more recently than parents so we remember more clearly.

He was very opinionated in a funny way and we had a student only known as the marine that would get into fun debates. Off handedly, the teacher once mentioned that in the rule book for teachers it said that they could not hit a student unless they got hit twice first. I ADORE Jazz, she's such a realistic interpretation of an older sibling who can separate moments of teasing to moments of support and such an important person in Danny's life. @@joelramnarine I liked the timing of it. It showed both how well Jazz knows her brother, and how bad Danny is at hiding his secret. Jazz knew something was wrong with him, and granted, some of that was because of Spectra, but some of it was from being a ghost now. He disappears a lot, and knowing what he is dealing with at home, Jazz is pretty protective of her little brother. It has also been shown time and time again how smart Jazz is, and she specifically wants to be a psychologist. I feel like if it had taken her any longer, it would kind of invalidate a lot of her character.

Episode 9 has always been one of my favorite episodes of Season 1 ever since I first saw it as a kid. Jazz finding out Danny's secret completely changed her character from how she was in the first half of the season, where you could tell the writers didn't really know what to do with her besides making her the "annoying" older sister trope. Having her not only find out Danny's half ghost, but also keeping it to herself instead of exposing him in front of their parents, acting as his secret keeper and deciding that she would tell him that she knows only when Danny's ready to tell her himself was absolutely perfect.

Actually Danny Phantom was Butch being on his PEAK. The problem is only what Idea he had AFTER the show if it would go more than 3 seasons. I don't tell those ideas cuz of spoiler but many Idea of him aren't really good in my opinion. SOME of these Ideas were really good but many are meh. It would be cool if you could react to his Videos after you finishing danny phantom. He also had a video he got the Idea of making this show and trust its worth watching.

Butch didn't write much of the show in the first two seasons actually, so it wasn't even his ideas, he was just the creator with a concept and would be consulted whenever the writers had a script. Steve Marmel is the one most responsible for changes to the original pitch such as making Jazz a sympathetic big sister instead of bullying and trying to get Danny caught by his parents, and making Valerie a recurring character with an anti-hero role, as well as wanting to push the show to go darker post-Ultimate Enemy. He was either removed or walked out when Butch decided to take total control when it was announced the series would be cancelled after the 3rd season, it's rumored to be either budget cuts or creative differences, but either way Steve still talks fondly of the show when he was involved. Hell, Butch didn't even design the final character concept of Danny- that was another artist in the staff. The reason DP's best seasons are considered memorable and well written is BECAUSE Butch WAS BARELY involved lol he doesn't even own the creative property anymore.

Well, there were quite some developments in these two Episodes, Danny’s Sister now knows about his identity and Vlad now has his own personal Ghost Hunter. About Jazz, I didn’t realize her finding out was something that happened this early, although in hindsight, this is a plot point that’s probably for the best to be get over with as soon as possible, Up until now, she has pretty clearly been established to be at least more clever than her parents, so having someone like that be kept in the dark any longer than this, probably wouldn’t be well for the Show. As for Vlad’s personal Teenage Ghost Hunter, I feel like a development like that would be more fitting to happen at a much later point, like perhaps somewhere after the Mid-Season or even at some point in the Next Season maybe, But i guess Episode 10 works too. Anyway, i wonder what’s next on the agenda? …wait, how many Episodes were a Season again? Somewhere around 12/13 or 20/25/26?

Re Butch: I think a lot of people don't realize that there's a whole team behind TV shows, so the creator isn't solely involved in the story process. They have writers and showrunners that really develop the show. Plus most of the story (Steve Marmel) and Designs (Stephen Silver) aren't really Butch's core ideas. If you see some of Butch's first concepts for DP, they're a bit odd. So, liking this show is easier since 1.) a lot of the show's writing pre season 3 wasn't Butch and 2.) Nick owns the rights (Butch tired to buy it back, but they won't let him and he probably doesn't make a ton of residuals off this show) so it's easier to like something like this instead of Harry Potter.

the reason this show is good is mainly cuz of steve marmel and other writers manning the script, whereas after s3 ep1, butch started getting involved with the writing and well............ yeah....... but im so glad yall are having fun with this!!! its my fave nick show and im glad people are catching up!!!
