Even though many say there are no real innovations in the Hero13... I think a lot has changed, even though the sensor is the same, the results definitely look better than on the 12.

7:20 am I just too old and can’t tell that much of a difference. That contacto door seems really great, not having to open the charge door to get info transfer is a major convenience.

What speed does the contacto have? Is that usb 3.0 or just 2.0?

The ultra-wide lens in linear wasn't. The fisheye was very prevalent so that should never occur in linear mode.

Great video, outlining the new accessories. I agree with you, and I'm ordering the magnetic door for all of my cameras. I just wish that with the lenses they would have included a telephoto (zoom).

No. At the far end of the focus range, objects beyond 750mm are technically out of focus, but the blur is quite subtle and you might find the sharpness to be adequate out to the horizon depending on your use case and personal taste. While testing the Macro Lens Mod, I did an hike in woodland with it on the whole time, and felt the far focus to be good enough for me to never want to take it off the camera. If you’re going to do some zooming in at high contrast objects at a far distance, you might think differently, so it’s worth experimenting. Full disclosure: I work for GoPro

That macro lens is probably disaster waiting to happen due to user error for that really uses action camera as action camera. Well, if you have spare $129 for replacement every time you crash it, then it's okay. That's probably the best solution possible because no mechanical AF mechanism can be installed due to abusive usage nature of an action cam. Mr. Black, are you willing to abuse that macro lens, by use action cam as action cam, to test how durable it is?
