Are you using the electric motor after you get up? Can you choose to use just the motor? How long will it last

Yes it is needed, it would be impossible out of the water and also a good threshold workout with the motor. Like and e-mtb better workout. Cardio over muscular

So If the battery dies its gonna take everything you got to drag that back to shore

Its pretty easy to navigate the battery system, like a gas gauge in a car, pretty simple to know how much juice you have left.

Thank you for honest review. I was wondering how it acts in the middle of the lake if u take a brake not pedaling. I guess bike is falling to the side. Ty.

Yes if you stop it will go down in the lake and then float on its side then you climb aboard as described and start going....once you get it, it is pretty easy. cheers

Not easy but challenging and easier the more times you do it!

At 210 (pounds), 95Kg I'm no lightweight, but there is absolutely no way I could get an XE-1 completely submerged. I'm wondering if I somehow have too much buoyancy. I'm tempted to trim away some of the styrofoam in the buoyancy chambers
