I haven't done brake pads in a number of years, and have never replaced the rotors. Roll forward a million years and I decided to help my son replace his on his 07 Accord rather than pay someone 1000-1300 to do it at a shop. This video was super helpful especially about the impact screwdriver. That was a life-saver!

The wheel holds the rotor on. Those screws are just to hold the rotor on during service.

@Dan the fix it man Thanks for the video, quick question I followed your DIY for changing my brakes and rotors for my Honda accord. and after a month the wheel starts to shake when I am braking on the highway going between 55 to 65. Sometime more frequently than other times. Do you think I overtorque the caliper bolts making it harder for the pins to move ? I was told that I warp the rotor ( even though the mechanic didn't look at it )already but it really hasn't been that long. Thanks

Should have gotten the DEWALT impact. Would have pulled those rotor bolts off easy!!!!

Haha, I know right...Please see the update in the description, The 4th setting on the tool was not working correctly for some reason. It works great on the 3rd setting and takes off caliper bolts and lug nuts easy now. I might have to reach out to Milwaukee, or I will just use it on the 3rd setting from now on for removing stuff like this. Thanks for watching! -Dan the Fix it Man
