@@RBTheMechanic the hammer tap definitely helped. I just realized also that the Pittsburgh impact tool does appear to rotate clockwise (not only counter-clockwise) and I think that's why the tool has been breaking for me.

That spring looks tricky for sure. Guess the design of caliper bolts don’t require grease like previous generation of Honda’s ? Why can’t you rotate the rotor left or right ? Thanks for sharing this information.

i just replaced my front and rear brakes and i had put the m77 assembly paste but the brakes squeal while driving and not pressing the brakes . I’ve taken them off and it still squeals slightly and i’ve followed both your videos on the brakes.

Zero purpose they just help u hold rotors in place

To frustrate us. The JIS (Japanese industrial screw, not a Philips head, but close) keeps the rotor tight while the vehicle moves around the factory. It is not needed outside the factory. Most will just toss it the first time the rotors are changed.

Just changed my rotors/pads on 2021 Accord LX(1.5L). Couple things different - no caliper holding clips and doesn't use allen key bolt for calipers.
